The Hotel was pleasant enough, good location for night markets with train station and beach in a good walking distance. The swimming pools were nice, especially the bigger one of the two. I felt the hotel was a bit tired. Fair price for what you get.

Rooms were poorly furnished. Hair on the floor in the toilet when we first entered the room. WiFi didn't work half the time. Breakfast spread was pretty sparse. The staff were quite clueless most of the time and didn't know what to do when we told them our phone, WiFi and water heater was broken.

Hotel conveniently situated in the centre of HuaHin consisting of three different buildings. Have stayed here a year or two ago in a renovated room not in the main building (building1) which was OK.This time I booked a "superior" room in the main building with Agoda at 2,500 baht or about £50 a night. The room was in need of... More

First of all: this is nothing to compare with Hilton or Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin. I've stayed three times in Tanawit Hotel in Hua--Hin. Yes,the main building is bit old and worn, but still cosy, service is good, buffet-breakfast is good. The pool area is big enough and there is a pool bar. It's location is... More

Feel welcoming for staff, but location not nice if during raining season. If you want to went out raining time, infront for hotel road side will flooding. And lobby area was leaking at waiting area. Breakfast was less for choose and went the item finished, no staff to refill. Need to improve greeting for front line and operator need to... More

Its not 5 star luxury, but this is my fourth stay at the Tanawit, the beds are good, the room clean, the shower spacious and clean, the swimming pools excellent. This time i had room only as there are so many other places to eat nearby. The wifi was hit and miss, but as a base its perfectly good for... More

Our impression involves only one night; but since we occupied three rooms (we were seven people) I think it has some importance. The hotel's location is very valuable: it is central, for example close to the songthaews' terminal to Khao Takiab (the beach south of the city), and overall to the downtown; but it is also near the train station... We stayed five nights in a comfortable room on the eighth floor (no wi-fi on this floor). The staff were friendly and obliging as our group required breakfast at 6.30am when the dining room didn't officially open till 7.00am, so credos to those staff who made it possible. Parking can be a big problem as the parking are outside is... More

The reception staff of this hotel need a few lessons in manners and customer service. They are unfriendly and rude and really do not have any understanding of customer care. During my stay I asked to see the manger twice and was told that it would not be possible on both occasions. Absolutely dreadful service and I would not recommend... More

The place is nothing from the front but the rooms are fine for the price. The rooms are claen and pretty big. The reception staff weren't the friendliest but did help us connect with the wifi which is not so stable. It is in fairly good location in central Hua hin and near night market. The breakfast is nothing special.
