I stayed for 6 nights. Lovely setting near to Hua Hin Beach. Unfortunately The Beach is not accessible in The morning due to high sealevel. Beach is not that nice over there. Breakfast is poor. I'm being told that around June a Belgian lady will open a superb boutique hotel in Khao Takiab where The Beach is gorgious. I will... More

Just back from a fabulous 3 week stay, the grounds are laid out perfectly in a tropical style, and very well maintained. Bungalows are arranged around 2 beautiful pools, each bungalow has a veranda and the foliage provides a degree of privacy and welcome shade. Staff always polite and very happy to help with any queries/requests. The pools are cleaned... More

Baan Duangkaew is amazing. First of all, it's beautiful. You feel like you're in a secluded part of the rainforest, in your own villa. Second of all, the staff is amazing. I was enthralled by the presence of starfruit trees on the property, and the next thing I knew -- a man that works at Baan Duangkaew is climbing one... More

We have stayed here many times and the food seems to be going downhill sadly. The rooms are lovely thai bungalows and are clean. There is also 2 pools that you can relax in. The check in staff remember us and are very friendly. The location is convenient, next to the night Cicada market which can get a bit loud... More

Stayed for 6 nights and loved it . Yes it is a little way out of town , but we caught the 10bht green transport back and forth and it was never an issue. Be aware that Friday , Saturday and Sunday night there is a large market right next door this goes till around. 11am . We enjoyed the... More

You can send a lot of time looking for perfection and that search could end in success but in most cases perfection is something we never actually find. This little gem hidden close to the beach as you head towards "Chopstick Mountain" in Hua Hin could be as close as we have got. We have been visiting Hua Hin for... More

We stayed here for 4 nights over new year. The resort is delightful - beautiful tended lush, green gardens, 2 spotlessly clean pools, very clean and comfortable rooms with generous sized wooden terraces. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The resort is beside the Cicada market and being new year this was very active - and loud! We asked... More

I booked this because of its comments, I'm not convinced they paint a true picture. There are two nice pools at the resort and it's quiet which suited me, but the restaurant was poor to say the least, the rooms are not that secure and it's very dark at night and you can't see where you are walking especially crossing... What a great little place. No crowds yet a perfect little pool of privacy- it's not about food here, rather, location, people and the place itself. I love this place and I can't wait to go back. I stayed here back in 2002, 04 and 2011.

The photos do not do this little resort justice. Set amongst beautiful gardens are cute little thai bungalows, ours was spotless, and merely steps to the 2 beautiful pools. It is so quiet here. The breakfast was good with both western and Asian options, and it is right next door to the fabulous Cicada market held on Fri/Sat nights. About... More
