This resort is a lovely place. My partner and I recently visited for 6 days. We didn't know what to expect from Hua Hin, and after exploring the ins and outs of the place we ended up really loving it. The resort itself was lovely, with private rooms that have everything you need. Comfortable bed, plenty of space, tidy, friendly... More

This is a small and nice hotel near Cikada market. A little bit far from the city center. 10 min by taxi. Aroun the hotel a few not bed restaurants and massage salons. Be carefully with the beach. It's not a beach hotel see is few hundred meters, and it's not a beach for swimming. But hotel organized free transfers... More

Stayed at Baan Duangkaew in April, 2014 and enjoyed every minute of it. Courteous staff, lush green surroundings and traditional Thai bungalows. The bungalows are set on stilts and are made entirely of wood. . the interiors are done up exceptionally well with brilliant natural lighting and a view of lush greenery from all sides! Being a family run resort... More

I stayed for 6 nights. Lovely setting near to Hua Hin Beach. Unfortunately The Beach is not accessible in The morning due to high sealevel. Beach is not that nice over there. Breakfast is poor. I'm being told that around June a Belgian lady will open a superb boutique hotel in Khao Takiab where The Beach is gorgious. I will... More

Just back from a fabulous 3 week stay, the grounds are laid out perfectly in a tropical style, and very well maintained. Bungalows are arranged around 2 beautiful pools, each bungalow has a veranda and the foliage provides a degree of privacy and welcome shade. Staff always polite and very happy to help with any queries/requests. The pools are cleaned... More

Baan Duangkaew is amazing. First of all, it's beautiful. You feel like you're in a secluded part of the rainforest, in your own villa. Second of all, the staff is amazing. I was enthralled by the presence of starfruit trees on the property, and the next thing I knew -- a man that works at Baan Duangkaew is climbing one... More

We have stayed here many times and the food seems to be going downhill sadly. The rooms are lovely thai bungalows and are clean. There is also 2 pools that you can relax in. The check in staff remember us and are very friendly. The location is convenient, next to the night Cicada market which can get a bit loud... More

Stayed for 6 nights and loved it . Yes it is a little way out of town , but we caught the 10bht green transport back and forth and it was never an issue. Be aware that Friday , Saturday and Sunday night there is a large market right next door this goes till around. 11am . We enjoyed the... More

You can send a lot of time looking for perfection and that search could end in success but in most cases perfection is something we never actually find. This little gem hidden close to the beach as you head towards "Chopstick Mountain" in Hua Hin could be as close as we have got. We have been visiting Hua Hin for... More

We stayed here for 4 nights over new year. The resort is delightful - beautiful tended lush, green gardens, 2 spotlessly clean pools, very clean and comfortable rooms with generous sized wooden terraces. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The resort is beside the Cicada market and being new year this was very active - and loud! We asked... More
