I stayed 3 days on July 2008. Good small resort with very nice Thai style bungalows, small but very good gardens and two nice swimming pools. Everything makes you feel very - very relax, but I have a couple of negatives to mention... 1. We have no hot water in our bangalow (although we mentioned the problem at the reception... more

I booked Baan Duangkaew for 7 nights originally but extended this by another 3 nights. This is a terrific little resort to the south of Hua Hin and is very close to the beach. There are two swimming pools in the resort and the accommodation is wooden Thai bungalow type. The bungalows are excellent with ensuite shower room and a... more

I stayed for 7 days at the Baan Duangkaew and overall I was very pleased. I particularly liked the bungalow style accomodation which surrounds the 2 pools there. The beach is a 5 minute walk down the road and the hotel give you beach towels to take with you. Rooms always cleaned well everyday and front desk staff happy and... more

Like many others it seems, we really enjoyed our two-night stay at the Baan Duangkaew. By shopping around different websites we managed to book our rooms for around US$60 each per night. It's a comfortably sized place, with a boutiquey feel about it. The bungalows are spacious, clean, well-equipped and gorgeous. We particularly appreciated the tea-making facilities and large mini-bar... more

We read the reviews and decided to try this resort out. From the first day we arrived at the hotel, we were received warmly. During the 4 days stay here, we lazed by the swimming pool and went to the nearby beach. We had a great time at both the pools ( one was undergoing renovation) and the beach (very... more

This was my family's second stay in a two-month span at Baan Duangkaew Resort and our second stay was just as nice as our first. Quiet little facility with a few dozen bungalows and two nice swimming pools encased in a warm tropical environment. Very little noise other than the beating of drums from the nearby Hyatt Resort each evening... more

Baan Duangkaew Resort offers romantic, tucked away bungalows set in a beautiful tropical garden. The bungalows are surprisingly private and the rooms were beautiful, with high ceilings and large windows overlooking a private balcony. Only two complaints: the two pools were rather small and unimpressive and breakfast was uninspired - (i.e. a breakfast sauage isnt a deep fried hot dog... more

Our family (including 2 girls ages 4 and 6) loved B.D. The staff were warm and friendly - this is a great place to bring children. The little bungalow we stayed in was immaculately clean, very tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. It was simple, but luxurious. We came to Hua Hin after our 21 hour flight from the States. This... more

I could write an essay on how good this place is but I will keep it brief. I wanted a couple of days away on my own for peace and quiet and this place fitted the bill perfectly. Little cottages set amongst absolutely stunning garden surroundings. If you are considering booking this hotel then just do it! You won't be... more

WOW What a great place. Just spent 5 nights there and we LOVED it. The units are top cabin. All close to a pool. They have two. Grounds and well maintained and just so pretty. Walk to the beach is not far and a good way to get the early morning blood flowing. Staff were all very nice. We had... more
