This hotel had been closed since July 2012. It sat dormant for close on two years, however, it is undergoing a completely new re-building process. The current level of construction seems to be well advanced and if the photo of the proposed new hotel is anything to go by it should be stunning to say the least. It has direct... More

We had stayed in Marriott Hua Hin resort for 5 days, and chose this hotel, because is a Marriott. Fortunately we got the nice room directly on the pool and a sea view. Wow! It was so amazing that we could see the sunrise while lying in bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They could recommend us that... More

I stayed here for nearly 10 nights and was lucky enough to be travelling with a regular visitor to the hotel so I got the inside track on which room to book. Whilst the hotel is a fairly normal Marriott, if you get a room with a patio overlooking the beach you will experience one of the best sun rises... More

Stunning Hotel right on the beach. You are not in Hua Hin town but nearer to Cha Am, which to be perfectly honest is much better. Walk out of the hotel onto the beach and you will find a few restaurants that cook the most amazing food, don't bother eating at the hotel, as most hotels food is boring and... More

We had a great time in this charming small hotel, in a great location and not overcrowded like other hotels. The food was fantastic and staff were so gracious and attentive. We hoped to return here but it is currently undergoing renovation, we stayed instead at the Hilton Hua Hin which was a big mistake. The hotel is right on... More

Was shown standard room and was not happy, to the point of telephoning another nearby 5* hotel to check availability. Was then offered an upgrade (which cost me another 30,000 baht) to a suite. The suite was perfectly acceptable, but the place is tired and in need of a refurb. Doesn't begin to compare with some of its neighbors. You... More

The Marriott looks very attractive and the rooms are ok - a little cramped if you have small children with you. Their main problem, as with many hotels is that there are not sufficient sunbeds around the pool. The pool itself is fine - large and well maintained but overcrowded. The staff do not stop people coming down early, throwing... More

The Marriott has been closed all of July and is undergoing a major renovation. Large sign across front says it will reopen as Anatara Resort. Has been very tired for a long time so the renovation will be a plus. Hotel is on the beach and a great location.

Hua Hin’s two most expensive hotels share the considerable disadvantage of having rocky beaches; and if, like me, you prefer a beach and waterline free from rocks, that leaves only one alternative: the Marriott. The hotel is a bit worn down, but not to a degree where this represents a problem. The rooms are nice and spacious; and the only... More
