This is a perfectly nice resort- if you are after 3 (4-star if i am being generous) accomadation. At 5 star prices. The location, in the centre of town, very near a shopping mall, the night market and in the middle of the beach strip of hotels is excellent if you want to be in the middle of hua hin's... more

This hotel invites to relaxation. It starts with a huge hammock iin the reception area. After that is the hotel a tropical garden with a parrot, several sitting groups and restaurants and three buildings with the guestrooms. My family and I stayed two nights. We got two rooms next to each other. The hotel is a bit old, and the... more

We visited Hua Hin purely to stay at the Marriott and it delivered! The room was very spacious and clean. The swimming pool was good and we could always get a sun bed. Only problem was there wasn't tray service around the pool (or not that we could tell anyway). We had to continually walk up to the bar to... more

Just returned from Thailand, where we stayed for 4 nights at the Marriott in Hua Hin. This is a lovely hotel, very relaxing and with great staff. It is right on the beach and within easy walking distance of the main centre of Hua Hin or you can get a Tuk Tuk . The gardens at the hotel are beautiful... more

We have found the Marriott to be excellent in all respects - although restuarants may be on the pricey side. The rooms are comfortable, the staff friendly and very helpful, and the amenities first class. We had no difficulty in getting beds by the pool - our choice of location. We will return next year! more

Service: Very professional during the daytime. Late at night however, they let their guard down especially if you're bringing back an ugly 'overnnight guest'. They are also not that professional if you're young, non-caucasian and dress like you don't belong in a luxury hotel. Thai culture, I presume. Rooms: Excellent. Heavenly. I had one right next to the beach so... more

It's a very nice beach front hotel, conveniently located across an upscale shopping plaza. However due to ongoing renovations at the restaurant the breakfast restaurant was extremly crowded, hot and humid. We complained to the restaurant manager asking why they wouldn't open the beachfront restaurants to avoid the crowd. He thought that was a great idea but they still didn't... more

My husband and I have travelled extensively so we know what we are talking about. We rated this hotel as the worst one we have ever stayed in and neither of us can understand the positive reviews on this web site - the place is pitiful. This resort is 25 years old and way past its use by date. Except... more

I stayed in this hotel during 2 nights in early November 2008. Good points: -The architecture of the hotel is nice and as some thai touch that I like. -The pool is also a nice area where one can relax. -The hotel is conveniently located nearby a shopping mall with a Tesco supermarket and some restaurants. Points to improve: -I've... more

This hotel setting is gorgeous and the welcome you get as soon as you arrive with a cold towel and fresh pineapple juice was perfect after the long drive from Bangkok. We booked the romance package which was nice but the room wasnt as nice as i thought it'd be. However the hotel setting was amazing and the pool and... more
