We stayed at Manathai for one night in January. The location is good--close to railroad station, market and a five minute walk to the (crowded and dirty) beach. The room was spacious and clean with a balcony overlooking the pool. The staff--some do the rudest I've come across in our travels in Thailand. When the receptionist greeted us she acted... More

This is a short walk from Hua Hin train station, right in the centre of town. The night markets etc and the sea front are very close, so many restaurants to choose from. The tuk tuks are expensive The hotel is just under new management, breakfast is basic but caters for most tastes normal hotel fare, but the options are... More

This hotel is located the Hua Hin Railway station within walking distance. Its hard to get lost after alighting from the train ride. Personally, I find the location quite central. Out from the Hotel, turn left, u can just walk straight towards the direction of the beach and Night Bazaar. Turn right to railway station. 2 streets behind the hotel... More

Small hotel with nicely decorated, large, airy rooms facing on to the pool which in November gets the sun until 1pm. Pleasant, helpful staff were on duty and tasty, plentiful breakfast 7-10:30 (which is a bonus if you have jet lag and a varied wake-up time!). The pool is sparkling clean and yes, the noise from the construction work is... More

My wife and i vacationed to Hua Hin and were hoping to escape the craziness of Bangkok with some relaxing beach side R&R. We showed up to Colonnade (now named Manathai) and were pleasantly surprised with a beautiful, spacious new room on the 7th floor with a great view out to the sea. The rooms are large, bed is extremely... More

It is alittle confusing to taxi drivers, as this hotel underwent a name change from Colonande Hotel to Manathai Huahin hotel. Somehow the word 'Colonande' means to be more familiar for them though. Also, the connecting mall was also undergoing renovations and almost all the shops were not opened when i was there. However, the room is delightfully spacious and... More
