It is all I need when I go away. A good size room, good bed, clean, free Internet, good airconditioning. Close to the beach and my favorite restaurant (Friendly Thai Kitchen in Soi 94) friendly hosts easy parking - case to the Hua Hin Market Mall.

It looks more like a budget hotel than a hostel. Booked a studio room for our stay. It has everything a hotel room might provide, except hairdryer. Asked if we could get a hairdryer but the receptionist said it is not provided. It is about 10-15 mins walk from the train station. If you are planning to go to the... More

I just returned from my 3-months holiday through south-east Asia and have a fresh recollection of all the different places I stayed at. The most impressive places to me had common areas where you could meet other travellers, there were pictures on the walls, some greenery to make places feel homely, there was laughter and happiness. This is what I... More

We arrived very early in the morning with out reservation and they manage to clean a room for us by 930. Room was clean with a huge bed, a wide spotless bathroom and very good aircon. The room was located just behinde the main building, away from the noise road. Breakfast is not included but if you ask you can... More

The so called "hostel" is nothing of the sort. This is a splendid budget HOTEL. The focus is on the bedrooms and the charming husband and wife who head up this operation. There are two buildings with the original having slightly larger bedrooms than those in the newly constructed building adjacent to the original hotel. A quiet location on Soi... More

800bht a night but comfortable bed clean room, big telly, hot shower, air con, fridge. No frills but excellent comfort. Only moved hotel after three days as wanted a pool. No breakfast but cheap places near by. Can hear traffic only a small amount.

Seriously the best hotel we have been to in Thailand. The people who work here are so friendly and helpfull! The owner speaks really good English and when we asked for a room at the ground floor it was not a problem at all. They call it a hostel but it is really more like a hotel. Great value for... More

Stumbled across this place four years ago and once again not disappointed (although shocked at the proximity of the new 5* hotel next door!) A new block has now been built on the back since my last stay and this was where I had a room up on the third floor. Lovely big spacious modern room with small balcony. Towels... More

Sunshine hostel is the perfect place for a weekend break. The rooms are large and clean, with hot showers, comfy beds, cable TV, air conditioning and small balconies. The staff were wonderful and let us keep our bags there once we'd checked out as we weren't leaving till the evening. The hotel is across the road from a lovely part... More

We just left Hua Hin and sunshine hostel yesterday evening. We booked 5 nights using booking.com but ended up staying an extra 3 nights! This brand new (!!) hostel is run by the sweetest family. And it is really more like a hotel. The hostel is split up into a front and a back building. We're guessing the bigger rooms... More
