The Peony is a moderately priced hotel, and it has much to be modest about. The location is good, a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Beyond that the room smelled of mold, the bed conjured memories of typewriter pads and the pillows were indistinguishable from tissues. The breakfast was just OK.

We stayed as a family of 4 in one of the large family suites. We had a big lounge area and 2 good sized bedrooms (1 x double & 1 x twin). The rooms are basic but very clean. Lovely pool with a small childrens pool attached. Breakfast was included in price, with a small selection of cooked produce (buffet... More

Run by Swedish/Thai owners and a lot of Swedish people stay there. Very well located, very clean, breakfast included in the price. ideal if you are a golfer. Swimming pool and small area for sunbeds which can be a problem sometimes. There are poolside rooms but if you have a room on the other floors there is no lift so... More

The Peony Hotel is located on a relatively quiet street in Hua Hin. The rooms are nice...for Thailand. You have to keep your hotel room key in a slot near the door in order for electricity to flow into the room. This is the only way for the air conditioning to work and also to see what you are doing... More

Found this hotel walking down the street and it had the best rooms at the best price so I took it. The bed was comfortable and the air-conditioning worked well. The shower was adequate and rooms were clean. Breakfast was included and was surprisingly good food with great variety. I think this hotel has a bit of western management to... More

We were looking for a decent hotel that didnt cost the earth and we found it in the Peony. Rooms are light with lovely balconys. Location is excellent as everywhere is within easy walking distance. Their buffet breakfast is the best we have had in Asia. Pool is lovely and never seems to get that busy. Staff are really friendly.... More
