Almost every time that we visit Hat Yai, we would stay in Grand Plaza Hotel. But, after this unpleasant experience Nevertheless, for this holiday, we booked a room online, requested for a room at high level and got a room at third level. The first and second level of the hotel is used for business purpose; restuarant. My wife and... More

We stayed there for 2 nights. We simply want to find a hotel which is near to Lee Garden Mall (<3 minutes walking). We have a few choices - Lee Garden, Mayflower, Grand Plaza, and Centara. Only Grand Plaza is within our budget. But we never regret on our choice. Grand Plaza is really worth for the price. Location: Very... More

Generally its Hatyai, everything is a little rundown. It's situated next to Lee Garden Mall which is super easy (if u get lost) moving around is not a problem, street markets are around, a nice 7-11 is next door (few shops away). food is easy too. Hotel: Pay 50% more when its festive season. gets packed easily. room are kinda... More

Stayed here in early january after arriving from an island from Southern Thai quite late at night. Got dropped off at Lee Gardens and started walking around aimlessly for a cheap n decent hotel. Finally settled for Grand Plaza in the end. it's location is just beside Lee Gardens where all the food n cheap shoppings are. Does the works... More

The exterior and lobby of the hotel looks good, very strategic location (at the most happening street of Hat Yai). Once we have checked in the corridor was dark and carpet with stains. The furniture in our room were old, room was dark (even though all lights were on), damaged bathtub and bath tower with stain. There's a massage center... More

Generally, Hat Yai hotels are rundown lots but this hotel must be the oldest. If not for it's smack in the heart of shopping area, bet no one would want to stay here. This hotel probably was built to cater for 'hobits'. The ceiling of the hotel rooms are damn low especially the bathroom. Once you step into the bathtub... More

We stayed in Grand Plaza Hotel Hatyai for 3 nights. Eventhough the hotel looks a bit old, it is quite alright. The location is excellent. It is the centre of eveything. There are two major shopping centre next to it. There are plenty of hawkers around. As it provides the basic needs, I don't mind staying in the same hotel... More

Came to Hatyai on a Friday night in July and since we could only secure a room of our 1st choice hotel for the 1st night, ended up having to move to Grand Plaza for the 2nd night. It may have been a grand hotel in its heydays but unfortunately those days were long past. Check in was efficient (buy... More
