cheap room prices comparable to facilities acquired. the rooms are old impressed. and bathrooms are crusty. mattress too hard. but the staff were friendly and could chekin early to make the hotel a better value. for low budget probably is good. but if you want to get extra facilities it should spend more money.

The Cathay Guesthouse is at the very bottom end of the accommodation spectrum, it's as basic as it gets even in the backpacker world. Its a cheap guest house whit clean but old rooms. At the reception are some Internet terminals and a fridge whit drinks. Every thing you need to wait a night for your connection - and not more. The staff is helpful and the rooms to the street are noisy.

I visit this guest house before. rooms are ok. nothing special put ok, before in lobby good spirit and nice chat other travellers. now it seems to be that pakistanis who work illegally in malaysia keep this plase they pitstop.
