good If you are looking for a cheap accomodation for 1 night or so. Don't expect anything fancy or with some kind of atmosphere. it is absolutely just functional and simple, including the bathroom/toilet (squatting style, it's healthy :-) ). The place made a relatively clean impression to us and the people running the place are friendly. some of them... More

I stayed here for one night, at B240 it was the cheapest accommodation I could find. The room was big and had a bathroom attached but it smelled of mold and was run down in general. The location of the guesthouse is very good as it is 5 minutes walk from a pedestrianized market street where there is a variety... More

My room was big with a funky dilapidated toilet inside. Smell of cooking and street noise drifted in from the windows. So did other little creatures (you’ll find out yourself). The building and rooms are really in a state of decay. The clientele are mainly backpackers and old men both in a state of decay as well. No free wifi.... More

We have stayed here for one night for transit to Malyasia. Positive: Cheap place for budget travelers. Very nice meals for a good price. We got a breakfast for two persons for 80 bath. Rooms are big and bathroom inside. Negative: Not free wifi. If you want to use wifi it cost 100 bath/24 hours for one mashine. But, maybe... More

Finding a cheap place in Hat Yai can be quite difficult. Cathay Guest House is a good place where you can stay for a night or two. They have a cheap breakfast (around 60 THB) and another cheap thai dish (30 - 60 THB). I mention this because it is not easy find a cheap and tasty food in Hat... More
