Away from the bustle of Chiang Rai city, it is a quite resort with basic amenities, relaxing pool area, comfy cosy dining area, very friendly staff, cosy wooden rustic bungalows, great view of the mountains, just ask the staff to call a taxi for you if you would like to head out, great wifi service & a great place to... I am not sure how I stumbled upon Naga Hill Resort, but I am ever-so thankful and happy that I did. The emerald mountains are remarkable- in the morning, the fog crawls over them and the world awakes. In the evening, the rolling hills are painted with its orange glow. From the pool, you can get lost for hours just... More

This was our best stay in Thailand. I will try to list all the whys: - The garden is just beautiful and very well maintained, all day long workers taking care, plenty of watering - The cheapest bungalow is 2 storeys, down you have relaxing place and hammock, as well as a private open space shower with a private garden.... We found this hotel by using chiangmaitourguide.com. Our guide gave us two choices and we chose this hotel. Absolutely wonderful. This is an eco lodge and it has everything. The grounds are beautiful, the bungalows are lovely and the food at the on site restaurant was fantastic. We are hoping to return on our next trip to Thailand.

Naga Hill biggest advantage is the location: the pool has a pretty impressive mountain view and the place looks nice and exotic because of all the green. The bungalows are cute and okay, but don't go there if you're looking for a ton of luxury. It's pretty basic, the beds/mattrass are hard and the shower/bathroom is outside (it is surrounded... More

We had a lovely stay for three nights in the medium bungalows for 1200baht each night, this was a bit expensive considering the resort was quite a ways out of town so we had to rent a scooter for transportation as well (we arranged this ourselves in town). The Bungalow was very clean and comfortable and the outside washroom was... More

The bungalows are inviting by their predominantly wooden design. Even in the basic version, comfort is provided where necessary: excellent bed mattress, hot water.. The gardens and the views are beautiful. Some works in progress didn't let us enjoy the restaurant area as much as wished but they won't last long supposedly (Nov 2013). The food is somewhat pricey but... More

I am a little upset writing this review as I have previously stayed at Naga Hill and had an amazing time. Management has changed - after reading current reviews of change in management although, a little put off we went ahead and booked for our second stay as you just could not change our mind that it could effect the... We had our greatest experience in Thailand at the Naga Hill Resort in Chiang Rai. The place is beautiful, with huge and well cared gardens, bamboos, all kind of tress and flowers, vegetation everywhere... The bungalows are nicely hidden in this idilic scenary and are not only comfortable, but as beatiful as the rest of the facilities of the hotel.... More

We originally booked 5 nights at Naga Hill as it looked so cute from the website. We later changed this to 3 nights due to a change in travel itinerary but left after 2 once we experienced the 'resort'. For nature lovers this is a great place, although a little over priced. There are definitely some positive things about the... More
