Located a short walk from the central bus station off a street with nice bars and cafes. Rooms are in a beautiful and quiet garden, no noise from the street. Very nice and friendly staff. Room was simple, but alright for the price. However, bathroom could use a renovation (but seemed clean).

Location wise it's great, set in the back of the main bar / restaurant street, it was was quiet. Room as basic as expected, no fridge though. The garden was pretty, but of course that comes with a great deal of mosquitos. However the host was not friendly or helpful at all. No laundry service either BUT there are several... More

Quiet, friendly, spacious, clean, cheap: just perfect. The family room was ideal with 2 full beds and a nice fridge. The front veranda upstairs best place to chill out. I know I should not be giving this secret out but this is the spirit of sharing....

I stayed here for a few days while visiting Chiang Rai. I don't remember what the room cost, but I don't believe it was more than $20.00 US per night. Quite a nice sized room with A/C. Bathroom was fairly large also. It was a great location to scout out the area from. Staff was helpful and kind. No noise... More

It took us a while to find the guesthouse as there is another one called Baan Bua Homestay. Once we had the directions it was easy enough to find and return to later in the evening. This is what $6.00 each got us. Two friends and I stayed here one night on our way to catch the slow boat to... More

We visited for songkran and saw had a good location. The room had 2 fans which was good compared to previous rooms. However, Reception staff Dis-interested, food awful, laundry service non existent. One breakfast they served muesli with fruit and "yoghurt". This so called yoghurt was so past its sell by date was more like cottage cheese!!!! Even stank!!! When... More

I stayed here 5 years ago and came back for the garden. The rooms are basic backpacker rooms, shower over the toilet with a fan. You don't need A/C here. You can get a single for 350 baht and a double for I think 450 baht. The garden is really beautiful and peaceful except for late evening when noisy drunk... More

This is a fab hostel. It had a lovely atmosphere about it and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. You can easily walk into the centre and it's slightly off the main high street so it's very quiet at night. The rooms were a good size (very hard bed...but what do you expect at such a cheap price!) with... More

This place is lovely and well-organised, the garden offers a great chance to relax or have breakfast among beautiful flowers and plants. It is really close to the bus station, so you won’t need to pay a tuk-tuk to get there and the bus station is the place where the night market is organized every night, so you will be... More

We absolutely loved our time here and even ended up extending our stay a few days! We paid 400B/night for a lovely, clean cosy double fan room with hot water and towels and soap included. There was a great outdoor area outside our room- under a flight of stairs- which was perfect for my morning yoga practice; indeed it was... More
