We stayed here for three nights, the rooms were very clean and the staff were very friendly. The was a nice garden area but as it was wet season also quite a few Mosquitos. The guesthouse is in a good location and very close to the night market. Only downside was the wifi was only available in the rooms near... More

We stayed in this guest house for 3 nights in June 2014. The best thing about this place was the owner, who was the most welcoming, helpful and kind host during the whole of our 3 week trip in Asia. The rooms are basic, bed, fan, shower but good value for money. It is located down a quiet cul-de-sac and... More

The owner gave us a slight discount so we got a room with a double bed for 350 baht (I think they're usually 400 baht) and was kind enough to hold our bags for a few days while we went on a motorcycle trip. The garden is definitely a nice place to relax. The rooms are clean and adequate. However,... More

I stayed here for a month a few years ago and it was perfect. Great price (the owner gave me a discount as I was staying so long), fantastic calm garden (wear mozzie spray!), good breakfast and most importantly a perfect location - On Jedyot road, round the corner from the night market where they do a great green curry... We stayed for one night at Baan Bua Guesthouse. It has a lovely garden and is located in the city center and on walking distance from the old busstation. The pancake breakfast is delightful. The rooms are spacious, clean, but a bit outdated. It could have been a lovely stay if it wasn't for the owner. She is incredibly impolite.... More

The guesthouse is located right in the center of Chiang Rai, on a side road between the Clock Tower and Jet Yod Temple. The night market and bus station are a few minutes’ walk away, and you have easy access to the local produce market and other local attractions like Oub Kam Museum, Hilltribe Museum, and the temples. Plus it... More

We stayed at Baan Bua Guesthouse in December 2013 and we had a really good stay. This guesthouse is simple but there is all you need, and for the price it is really a good value. Moreover, the owner, Angela, is really nice. We also enjoyed having breakfast in the nice garden :) The location is quite central and you... More

The location of the guesthouse was really good, near the night market and a lot of bars and restaurants. The rooms were alright, however the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The staff was nice and the breakfast good.

We only stayed here one night and had to leave very early in the morning so were unable to have breakfast, but our short experience here was very good. The room was very nice- bungalow style, very clean and if it hadn't been pouring down with rain, the garden area would have been enjoyable to sit in. The room was... More

We came here due to the Lonely Planet advice. When we saw the garden we thought it was nice and we booked because we were in a hurry. -the garden is nice specially for having breakfast. -rooms are poor, old and awful. They have the hardest and most uncomfortable bed ever. No tables un the room, Nothing! Only the bed,... More
