We stayed here for one night en route to Laos and it served its purpose. That said, simple things like room safes were absent and I found the reception staff to be fairly disinterested. There was a problem with our booking which I brought to their attention. They could have taken some initiative and sorted it themselves but rather waited... More

The hotel staff were very accommodating to help us change from a king-sized bedroom, to a twin-bedded room, as the tour agency had not communicated our preference for the rooms properly - either they didn't understand what a double bedded-room meant in Thailand, or they thought it meant 2 persons. The beds were comfy, but the pillows were quite stained.... More

This hotel should be really lovely. It has great grounds and the rooms are a good size. It needs a bit of love though. It's looking a bit tired and the staff need to be a bit more spontaneous rather than only speak when spoken to.

What a great place with great deals. Book early and take the early bird offers, we had free breakfast and evening meal plus 10% off drinks and buy one get one free during happy '3' hours! The rooms are very nice, good TV, good AC and big fridge. We had a pool room, don't stint yourselves at these good prices!... More

The hotel is located away from the nightlife of Chiang Rai, thus very peaceful. The facilities are very clean, very well maintained and include a lovely restaurant, bar and swimming pool. If you didn't know it, the lush grounds could be Hawaii or other tropical areas. The rooms are large and well appointed. The breakfast buffet is quite good and... More

Stayed here for one night on our way from Bangkok to the Laos border. Our room was in a chalet in the beautiful tropical gardens and was very clean with all amenities. The staff were very pleasant and dinner in the on site restaurant was good. Breakfast was basic but OK. The hotel is out of town and the surroundings... More

Although situated in the less salubrious part of the town about 20 minutes from the airport it is a pleasant resort with tasty meals at the adjoining Eclipse restaurant (breakfast 350 baht). The lush tropical gardens around the rooms are a highlight. Beware of the overpriced day tours offered at the resort. Ask for a discount and ask for Mr... More

This hotel is not located in the city center oif Chiang Rai, but not that far away. The Hotel is nice, with a nice garden but the swimming pool was a bit dirty. Rooms have a lot of space, big bed, but not that modern. All the rest was ok...

Not sure what I paid, but it was a pleasant place to stay in a garden setting. Nice pool and good breakfast. Others from the group had stayed longer and said it was one of the nicest hotels they had stayed at in Thailand. Nothing I saw would disagree with them.

We only stayed at the laluna hotel for one night before departing for Laos the following day. We ate in the restaurant that evening which had nice and hotel guests receive 10% off the total. The pool area was fantastic with a great size pool and fresh clean towels available. The rooms are like individual bungalows which were large and... More
