We stumbled across this place after doing the Gibbon Experience in Laos and wanted a bit of luxury for one night. Unfortunately, other than the location, there's not much that is luxurious about this place. It seems very expensive for the state of the rooms. There were very dated. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was... More

The location is excellent, you can walk everywhere from here. The hotel itself is a bit old and smelly. The rooms could do with an upgrade and some insulation from people walking up and down the corridors. It's an old hotel and it shows

Arrived at 3 in the morning and were able to check in quickly. We got two double twin bed rooms right next to each other. The rooms had multiple light switches on the wall and on cabinet near bedside, which was easy access. WIFI reception wasn’t good in the room as it was in the Lobby. Had complimentary breakfast which... More

People up all night walking around, going from room to room. The walls are super thin so you could hear it all. Seems like a trend for hotels in Thailand. Overall a nice hotel, close to night bazaar. If only I could sleep......that would have been the best.

we stay a couple of days in December and loved it. Very close to the night market and the flower garden that a local restaurant owner told us about. It was very beautiful. The rooms where clean and reasonable. Internet doesn't work as well as in the lobby. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I spent two nights at the Wangcome Hotel. Coming from Chiang Mai, I went directly to the front desk for booking, scared for asking the price (the building from outside is really huge and impressive). Eventually the price was reasonable and the room clean and functional, but dated. I really like the long hallways to reach the room. The staff was... More

We chose this hotel based upon availability during the Christmas holidays (we made late reservations) and due to its location (which is excellent). It is very central; just minutes walk to the clock tower or the night market or the Saturday "walking street" (outdoor market). It is close to several of the famous wat's as well. The hotel is dated.... More

This hotel is located in the center of Chiang Rai, 2 minutes walk to Clock Tower, and few minutes walk to some of the most visited temples/Wats in Chiang Rai. Also few minutes walk to Saturday Night Market. Though centrally located it is relatively quite. There is a free parking lot if you came like me with a rental car.... More

My fourth stay here. Deluxe room okay. Swimming pool not inviting. Buffet breakfast reasonable without going over the top. No bacon for westerners. Staff as usual very good. Location is as good as you can get. May try another hotel next time.

The hotel itself was very average, didn't use the pool. The staff though was extremely polite and wonderful, I had an issue really late at night and they had dealt with it right away and professionally. Staff made me feel very safe as a solo-female. This hotel is somewhere where I would definitely stay again with family and/or friends.
