Was suggested to us as the best place in town, rooms are comfortable, spacy, the hotel is well located, right in the centre of town. Breakfast menu is very good with many choices between Asian and European- American food. Is is well priced for what it offers. The service is good too.

We stayed here as we were visiting friends in Chiang Rai and this was in the best location. It is located in the centre on Chiang Rai so very close to shops, restaurants and the excellent night market were you can eat fresh food and be entertained, and pick up a few bargains. The room was comfortable with a nice... More

We stayed here for a few nights when we visited Chiang Rai. I imagine in the 80's this was the bee's knees however now it is somewhat dated. Room was very spacious and clean and when we had to have the bed sheets changed at around 1am in the morning due to spilling red wine on them the staff were... More

We spent one night here on a hectic but enjoyable tour. Really nice rooms and friendly staff. Only a short walk away from a very good night market. One of the best we visited on out tour. Excellent breakfast ,set us up for the day ahead.

Very nice hotel right in the center of the city. The night market and city bus station are a block away and restaurants are plentiful in the area. The hotel is nicely landscaped, the lobby is large and beautiful, nice pool, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The bed is decent, not rock hard like so many in Thailand.... More

A good hotel in the centre of town. It's dated but that adds to its charm. Massive foyer and reception area with a bar and grand piano add to the feeling that you've stepped back in time. It's priced well and the rooms are large. I'd stay here again if visiting Chiang Rai

We enjoyed our stay here. It is a good hotel for the price, right in the centre of town. Our room was big, clean and quiet. Only problem was lack of power sockets. Breakfast selection was good. Very nice staff. If I ever return to Chiang Rai I would stay here again

Remember, you are in Chiang Rai. This is a place that I am sure was great in its hay day. It is a bit tired but the room was a nice size and the bed very comfortable, not the typical brick- hard Thai bed. We are here for one night and there is construction going on as they remodel. When... More

Comfortable hotel, good bed and decent sized hotel rooms. Very American 1990s style, complete with lobby bar, complimentary punch, concierge and stone/gold entrance foyer. Felt like I was in an episode of Seinfeld or something, or should've been dressed in a pant-suit with shoulder pads and bigger hair! ;) We got a decent rate too. Good location just a short... More
