We stayed two nights at the Wiang Inn hotel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the device very good. The location is fantastic, virtually in the centre of town and an easy stroll to the night bazaar. Breakfast was good and the seats in the lobby comfortable. It is somewhat dated, but good value.

My wife and I have visited Chiang Rai for the first time in January 2014 and selected this hotel by chance. We have not regretted doing so. It may not be the newest hotel but it is very comfortable and the staff is very friendly. We were most impressed by the tour operator working from this hotel. The rooms are... More

We stayed at the Wiang Inn hotel Chaing Rai for 2 nights. Booked online so got good price. Hotel ideally situated for night market and if you catch bus here is 5 min walk from either. Hotel lobby very impressive, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast good, rooms are ok but bit dated but are still very comfortable. Would stay again... More

Chose this hotel due to its proximity to the markets and restaurants. The foyer is ok, though quite dated. Rooms were extremely clean which was great....other than that the rooms were just a place to cool down and sleep. Nothing special. The swimming pool is old, the changing rooms were dirty. 2 bottles of water is the daily allocation, more... More

It is rather evident that this is one of Chiang Rai's older hotels, as the lobby has an '80s feel to it. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room. I'm pretty sure the place has been renovated in the past few years, and the room furnishing reflected that. The hotel itself is located smack in... More

My partner and I were recommended this hotel as it is near the bus stations and we were going to chiang kong very early, while this hotel is very luxurious and fancy everything else is extremely mediocre. The rooms were spacious and clean but the customer service was such a let down, the pool looked old and dirty and the... More

I've stayed at the Wiang Inn twice five days each time. I was a little apprehensive about staying there last year as other guests commented that the pool was unusable. However, when I arrived the water was crystal clear as it was this year. Night market and bus station is a block away, Saturday night walking market about 10-15 minute... More

Hotel is near Night Market. We think very over priced. Much better place son thr river at same or cheaper price. However, it is near the Night Market. Lobby has been upgraded but rooms look like the mid 60's. Breakfast is so so.

Stayed here for 3 nights and was amazing. Pool was huge, but you need a hat first thing in the morning. Brekky and dinner was great and reasonably priced! The piano man plays the same tunes each night and won't do requests! On our last night went downstairs to the karaoke bar - what a great night, not many in... More
