We stayed for 1 night before travelling to the Golden triangle. It was an average hotel. The lobby is lovely but it seems that is where all the money has been spent. The rest of the hotel is very outdated and very 1970s. The corridors reminded me of the movie the shining! Our room was ok, was clean. However the... More

We stayed two nights at the Wiang Inn hotel on a private tour. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Although the rooms are dated but I believe they are doing them up. The location is fantastic, virtually in the centre of town and an easy stroll to the night bazaar. Breakfast and dinner were average. One disappointment was at... More

Very Pleasant stay indeed.Very spacious and confortable room, perfect bed, agreeable small swimming pool though big enough to swim a little, clos to a little night market, excellent breakfast buffet (surprinsingly enough the restaurant itself offers much better food than most other hotelsn and at a very reasonable cost comparable to regular small thai restaurant on the outside). ONLY ONE MAJOR... More

THis is my third time at this hotel, the last time over 10 years ago. We checked in and this was a little confused to say the least but we got there in the end. The Reception is sqill delightful if a little dated. The room was a shock when I got in there the flooring was a cheap vinyl... More

The Wiang In is a large hotel which, from the outside, looks a little dated, but the rooms are modern and spacious with clean bathrooms. The breakfast was very good with a complete choice. The downside was the pool (which was one of my reasons for choosing this hotel). I was the only one there but floating on the water... More

We stayed here for just one night - dinner, room and breakfast. The hotel is a bit tired but our room was pleasant, clean and comfortable. In fact the bed was very comfortable. The food was OK! However, we would stay here again if we were ever in Chiang rai.

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights on a tour. There were welcome drinks upon arrival and check-in was rather speedy. The hotel room was rather spacious but the carpets were stained. We requested the help of housekeeping a couple of times and they arrived within 5-10 minutes to resolve our problems. There were 2 complimentary bottles of water. The... More

Unfortunately only stayed one night here on a three week tour, but the room was large and clean, the bed comfy, and the breakfast one of the best I had in Thailand. Location also great. Ticked all the boxes for the price !

Very large pool w nice chairs. It is located just around the corner from a Main Street. All in all a great place to stay

Lovely hotel, clean, tidy and well presented. Food was very good, staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel is close to the main street where there is a vast choice of restaurants. Pool area is shaded in the afternoon, but it was to hot to sun bathe.
