Only spent one night here as we were on a tour thank god,the rooms are in need on total renovation . Mould in the bath and shower , taps that dont work on hand basin, old fat back tv with remote that some buttons did not work. The buffet breakfast was just edible and cleanliness was poor through out complex.

The location near the river is beautiful. The building was once spectacular and architecture is still to be admired. Landscaping is still very nice. The staff tries hard. However, as a resort, it desperately needs maintenance and remodeling. For whatever reason - it appears that no money is going into the upkeep of the resort. Bathrooms have mildew growing, rooms... Stayed one night at this hotel and like many other reviews yes she is old and tired especially in the rooms, but I did find the service by the staff good, food was good and the surrounding grounds very lovely. Everyone crowds the Lobby as there is no wi-fi in the rooms. Lots of bus groups come here so it... More

It used to be a beautiful family resort. Looks really worn down. Tap water was brown in color. Time for a much needed face-lift. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast and dinner was reasonable and they even had some live music. One good thing is it is very close to the airport.

In addition to the negative reviews already posted regarding the need for a facelift we wish to add the following points: 1. There is no hair-dryer or kettle in the room. You have to ask for one from house-keeping. 2. Wifi is only available in the lounge area and nearby rooms. 3. Room and bath-room show signs of old-age. 4.... More

Here is an old resort that seriously needs a facelift and renovation. Part of the roof tiles have already dropped off. Bathrooms, water faucets, shower heads and hot water system require to be replaced. This resort is still using shower curtains. It is really sad to see a resort deteriorates. The owner should sell out if they could not maintain... More

We used to live in Chiang Rai and were excited to spend a day at the Rimkok enjoying the pool and lunch. It was clear upon our arrival that the resort had not had much upkeep since we left 7 years ago. We started with lunch, which was a good buffet but overpriced at 179 baht. It seems that the... More

The hotel was clean & the breakfast was hot. The rooms were not bad & the staff were pleasant over all. The hotel is relatively well situated & you can walk around the area comfortably. I've stayed in worse hotels in North America. The wifi worked reliably. The bar was stocked.

When our tour visited Chiang Rai we stayed here for 2 nights. It locates on the bank of the river Kong. The buildings are local style. Room is clean but no wifi. The TV has no foreign languages channels. But we spent a lot of time around swimming pool. The front hall has wifi and in backyard we could see... More
