We really liked this place. The grounds were beautiful, the staff helpful and friendly, the food was good, rooms were comfortable - all in all a great place to stay! more

To all who think including the word 'resort' to a hotel means luxury or at least star class service, think again. This hotel provided average food, above average prices and more importantly- sleazy hotel staff. Only seemingly concerned with ensuring payment, this hotel has recruited staff of questionable character, taking any opportunity to flirt and take advantage of young hotel... more

Stayed here with SmarTours. The grounds and pool are lovely. The pool is unheated, so its only comfortable if the weather is hot enough. We were put in Bldg 5 which was a good walk from the lobby, breakfast room, pool, etc. Not a problem for us, but not everyone appreciated the long trek to their room. The hotel has... more

We stayed at the Rim Kok for two nights only and we are thankful. This hotel is to be avoided if possible. While the grounds at the entrance and the lobby area are very nice, the rooms are worn out. The first room they tried to put us in was in section 6, about a 15 minute walk from the... more

It is true that the surroundings and the exterior raises the expectation you have on the room - these may not be entirely fulfilled... We spent 2 nights here on a group trip around the north of Thailand and the room was one of the smallest during the tour and especially the bathtub had certainly seen better days. But our... more

The hotel is situated on a beautiful piece of land right on the river where you are able to watch daily Thai life. The pool is beautiful. We enjoyed having a drink and listening to the lounge singers that do Elvis Imitations. The lobby piano player moonlights as a taxi driver. Though the hotel is very remote and quiet, it... more

Let me preface this review by saying that I am generally a "glass is half full" kind of gal. However, our stay here was one of my worst hotel experiences ever. This resort has a lot of potential but it does not live up to it. It has the most beautiful grounds and a lovely swimming pool and a nice... more

Great pool! Nice resort-y ambiance complete with river boat access. We were in a garden room, stayed two days in April, and had no problem with mosquitoes. I think they spray before you stay. The Thai Elvis lounge singer was certainly memorable! As were the extra firm pillows - woke with a headache the first morning, used my inflatable neck... more

Worst hotel experience in a lot of travelling Asia experience - including guesthouse accommodation. Deceptive internet advertisement about the price - or the advertised price was denied by the manager on arrival. Saw "promotional rate" on the internet on several sites - but manager claimed knew nothing about it. Miles from anywhere - we were exhausted and were dropped there.... more

I chose this hotel on a recommendation, and for my 1000baht found the room decent - clean, comfortable, a little old-fashioned but in otherwise nice enough. That included A/C (tho it's cool here, so unnecessary) cable TV and buffet breakfast (which I was late for, so they served me an individual plate). One major problem with this place is the... more
