The rooms were quite cool without needing fan or air con. We had a private balcony. The outside chillout garden is a beautiful space. I really loved that the guest house had a shared kitchen space with microwave, urn and free tea, coffee and Milo! I have stayed here twice and next time I'm in Chiang Rai I'll stay again.... More

Stayed here for a week, first 4 nights in a spacious air con room for 330 baht /night extending for a further 3 in a fan room for 260 baht/night. Rooms were identical except for fan/air con - which we didn't need in February. Both had English TV channel sets. Older lady owner speaks passable English and is very friendly.... More

I am a frequent traveller in Thailand, but it was my worst guesthouse experience ever. I arrived at night, - first they didn´t know of any booking, I ended up in a tiny half-cleaned room on the first floor. It was impossible to sleep due to the noise from the pig slaughterhouse and a sawmill or some kind of workshop,... More

We were nervous to stay due to slaughterhouse review but decided to try. The place is perfect. The sheets crisp & clean-very clean room. Our room had small balcony & TV-bargain price of $7 and worth every penny. We had no problems & would definitely stay there again!

Bed a bit hard, no breakfast but washing machine available and cheap. The room was clean and big..the owner is speaking a poor english...I would however go again but if they propose a good breakfast that would help bringing even more people

We stayed for 2 nights as a backpacking couple. Nice room with lots of space, a little balcony which is good for drying clothes and a bathroom with a toilet and urinal. The bathroom had a really really bad smell though, which was very unpleasant. The staff are nice and helpful. The bed was hard but I don't mind that.... More

We had a short stay in Chiang Rai and chose this guesthouse and were quite pleased with our decision! The rooms are spotless, the wifi is strong and the water in the shower is very hot! The beds are a bit hard but that should be expected in Asia. The only thing that I didn't like about this place was... More

After 4 nights sharing a room with friends and strangers it was a pleasure to have a room to myself at the same price as a dorm bed! The room is large and comes with a wardrobe ensuite bathroom and a separate room that seems to be a laundry type room. It had a clothes horse in it at any... More

We stayed two nights here at Baan Nukanong. The hotel seemed modern and it was clean and tidy. It was about 10 minutes outside of town on foot but this didn't bother us, it meant peace and quiet. The room was basic but we did have a TV, a fridge and wifi access. The bed was hard but that is... More
