The hotel is dated, reminded us of a mountain lodge stay. Located right on the river and close to the night market. Great breakfast. Even though the rooms and hotel are old, it was a pleasant and quaint stay. In chiang rai, must go see the white temple, also shop at the night market--best one and best prices from entire... More

It has the most beautiful pool I have ever seen. The building is also interesting but the rooms are on the low side - they seem a bit old - a striking contrast with the outside. The breakfast is nice and varied. They offer a shuttle service to downtown for 60 BHT per person. You get a better deal taking... More

Large hotel in beautiful gardens .The breakfast terrace is decked with flowers and overlooks the river. Good to relax but a bit far from the town center . You can use their shuttle to the night market and back and save yourself the hassle of bartering for a taxi . Rooms large if a bit outdated.Excellent breakfast with good service.

We spent four nights here, and were well satisfied with bed, lamps, and furnishing (perhaps because we had a suite). The wi-fi was free and could be applied to several of our devices. Location on the Kok River was wonderful, and from our room on the 7th floor we had excellent views of the city, the mountains, and the river.... More

This hotel looks great from the outside. A big complex, beautiful swimming pool, located by the river, where you can sit and have breakfast watching the sun rise. Its rooms are fair but old, lacking a bit of maintenance.

Really old hotel, you can tell it used to be a big and grand hotel during the 80 and early 90's. Good hospitable staff and the breakfast buffet is really good! You can opt to eat indoors or out with the view of the river. The pool seems nice and clean but outdated. We stayed here because there were no... More

We stayed there for 3 nights...right after Xmas. As one of the Dusit Thani hotels, this one in Chiang Rai offers excellent service. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We appreciate their promotion of organic farming in the area...in fact, we are indeed lucky to have the fresh vegetables on our plates. our room is spacious and clean. we are... More

This hotel is just old. It desperately needs bringing up to this century. Lobby area and restaurant is ok, but bedrooms and bathrooms are truly awful. Location is a little bit of a walk into town but easy to get a taxi. Much better value available at this price.

Let me start saying that this is not a bad hotel. The staff is helpful and friendly, hotel is not far from the centre of Chiang Rai and rooms are spacious. Key negatives are that the overall look and feel is old and the breakfast compared to other hotels could be beter quality. If they would refurbish the hotel this... More

Nice room. Restaurant on top floor had nice view of city. After so many days craving Western food, the steak dinner was very welcomed. Pity only was there a day and a half. Will stay with them next time in the area of Chiang Rai. Had a good breakfast spread.
