If you are heading for budget hotel, you may consider this hotel. We stay here for 2 nights, room are very small, no space to open the luggage. There is only 2 floor, so we gotta climb up the stairs, no a big deal for us but if you have old people with you , you may think twice before you... More

We like this hotel because it is serviced by Chalee also known as Chiangrai Tripadvisor. In three visits he has taken us to the best attractions in the area and has excellent English. Steves Hangover's Bar is just around the corner being an extremely convivial expat hangout. The hotel itself leaves a bit to be desired in the bathroom department,... More

Room had an average size and was in an average condition. Sheets had kept some small stains after washing but in general everything was clean. Nightmarket and city bus terminal are in walking distance.

I'd happily return to the Diamond Park Inn - which is the highest compliment you can pay any hotel. After a fairly miserable night at the Jansom House just around the corner, it was a real pleasure to transfer to the Diamond Inn. There was such a contrast in attitude. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming and the hotel... More

Stayed here for a night with my wife recently.......(January 2014)....and for the price..650 baht (100 baht extra for breakfast)....it's not a bad place to stay as it is quite central. Bus station, Night bazar, good restaurants, bars, are all within walking distance of the hotel.... Rooms are adequate for the price.....and cleaned daily by some lovely Thai cleaners....showers/air con all... More

The hotel is not bad but also not really good. Beds were very hard, pillows were much to big to be comfortable. I am not sure my sheets were clean...but I slept well. Bathroom was clean, bath with shower and toilet. Airco OK. Big room. Beautifull new swimming pool. Breakfast was not bad, not good. Everything OK for 1 night.... More

The location is good: near the night market, the bus station, many places offering good Thai and western food at low prices, supermarkets (Tesco, 7-11), and the lively bars around the Wangcome Hotel. The room was large, clean, and quiet. The staff was friendly, and wifi was good. The only problem was the very small bathroom, with a shower that... More

Walking distant to bus station and the staff there are friendly. Also close to market. There was hot water in the lobby and in the morning they provide coffee. The shower was good and the room was clean

Stayed at this hotel for three nights and three breakfast's. Breakfast here was only "memorable" by the sheer fact that it was "Pathetic", it appeared that they had school girls cooking and serving breakfast (well a kind of breakfast?!). Coffee was always cold, no milk, cold eggs, toast that was not toast. Stayed in Thailand 30 days and this had... More

The hotel was in a good location - close to the city centre and within walking distance of the night market and bus station. The room was clean and the bathroom was a little on the small side but the bed was comfortable and we slept well.
