Well, If you're looking for some fun in Chiang Rai and you're single... This is a fine example right on Jetrod road. No issues. Clean, cheap, right near the famed Clock Tower. Make sure to see the Clock Tower. Check out a few Wats. Then get out of here! All the bars on this little strip are a charade. Get... More

We chose this hotel due to the recommendation in Lonely Planet. We had trouble making a reservation since there was no working website or email adress available. So we just walked in. They had a room ready which was actually quite beautiful with a corner window four-poster bed and bathroom with tub. The room was clean as were the sheets... More

This was a chance find for a room for the night, but we were glad we found it. It had real hot water and great ac and a great room, Close to everything in town. Very clean rooms, they were very accommodating when in need of extra special service. It was a bit of a problem when noone spoke English... More

Very clean, comfortable and friendly. We had a standard room (600 Baht) which was quite spacious. Spacious bathroom. New looking furniture. Fast wifi. Very nice lobby. Breakfast (included) was simple but good. Off street parking. Only about a 10-15 minute walk from 'downtown'. Some good coffee shops nearby. Very friendly and happy staff. We've been traveling for about 6 weeks... More

Lovely little hotel with very sweet staff. It's a bit of a walk from the centre of Chiang Mai but is perfectly manegeable. Very clean and well taken care of, the fridge came in very handy and the wifi worked well. Good value.

We stayed here for three days. Its a great value. The room was well furnished (looks new) and very clean. Nice lobby with comfortable and cozy sofas. For such a small and mostly concrete space, it is well decorated with plenty of plants. The staff is friendly and helpful - seem happy to be working here. There is a basic... More

Room was clean and staff were polite. No microwaves in room, but did have small refrigerator. The bed was hard but comfortable. Free breakfast was free but very basic. Coffee, tea, water, milk, cereal, banana, eggs to order if you desired. No take away cups for coffee or tea. Only china. No face cloth or hand towel in room, only... More

A little out of town, rooms are clean and staff freindly...... Free breakfast is a little basic but then it is free! Room service was available. The price was very reasonable! Bed was a little hard and view from room not the best..... But very quiet on a night

I have been living in and visiting the north of Thailand for the last eight years or so. When in Chiang rai I always do the same thing: look for somewhere new that is affordable yet nice. I always end up coming back to Moon and Sun. The location for some may be a little away from the center but... More
