Very decent guesthouse. For 400 bht you'll end up in a decent place conveniently located in town. The owners are very friendly an helpful. Breakfast and dinner places around the corner. You can book yours here the company they work with is very good in my opinion.

Awesome, quiet little place right near the bus station and restaurant/bar row (but don't let that deter you). Really nice and friendly staff, spacious super-clean rooms for 350b/night (w/fan), and all the free water/coffee/tea you could possibly need. The other clientele were unfortunately somewhat obnoxious but the hotel can't help that...

We stayed here three nights and the room was clean and great location. Close to everything but quiet at night. Free tea coffee and cocoa was nice, also the receptionist was very helpful and patient with our constant questions. Great value for money. Make sure you go to the Saturday night market if you're here over the weekend, great food... More

I really like it here. The woman speaks english, laudry is quick. There is stuff to do in10mins walk and the tours are fanastic. The rooms are spotless, t\bathrooms are well designed so your toilet doesnt get wet when you shower and they have bbc news/ aljazeera on tv. For the money its great! No food though, which sucks when you... More

The lady at reception is helpful and friendly and the free coffee and tea is an added bonus. Its situated close to the night bazaar and saturday walking st markets, with some half decent bars around too. Good value... More

Great budget choice - the rooms are fairly basic but comfortable and clean. The location is spot-on - on a small alley just off Jetyod Road. Good wifi, free water daily, outside seating areas throughout. The AC works well and the fan is an added bonus during the warmer months. The lady who manages the guesthouse speaks pretty good English... More

I stayed one night while in Chiang Rai. Receptionist is very friendly. Centrally located within walking distance of the bus station. Clean and large room. My only gripe with Orchids was not the place itself but the other guests -- loud, obnoxious Europeans who had no consideration for other guests. In the small courtyard everything echoes. I had trouble sleeping... More

This guest house is cheap, clean and the owners are helpful! It's better to book a room, because they are very busy. To book a room from abroad, you'll have to call them (we couldn't book by email or with the website).

They have same price as the rest and better, newer, cleaner rooms. Two wifi hotspots very fast. The electricity does not get cut when leave so our electrical devices can charge when out (usually the rest do). Complimentary coffee, tea and cocoa is great. Very nice
