entered the driveway & saw all the construction work going on, but I needn't have been as we never heard any noise. Hopefully the new builds will liven the place up a bit, but not spoil the tranquility too much. There's a 7-eleven, & restaurants about a 10-15 minute walk away. The hotel hires bikes out if you don't fancy... More

It is a school holidays of my daughter. So we all decided to chill out in Cha am for few days. We have seen this "Regent Chalet" every time we went to Chaam. So we decided that this time we would try out this hotel. And indeed I could said that it was a good choice for family to do... More

HAve been to Cha am and Hua Hin a few times. This was the first time staying here - and what a great place...fairly standard rooms - we had a townhouse family villa - with unobstructed sea views. However, for the cheap price you pay the facilities are excellent! Would go back there in a heartbeat! Only 25 minutes north... More

We have just returned from a 10 day holiday at Regent chalet Hotel. The location was fantastic hotel was on the beach, which was lovely quiet and clean The hotel did warn of jelly fish but we never saw any during our entire holiday As this was low season the hotel was very quiet and plenty of sun beds were... On our arrival at The Regent Chalets things, unfortunately, began to go downhill. "The Lobby" at Regent Chalets turned out to be a pavilion type building open on three sides, and after a transfer journey of 2 1/2 hours from Bangkok we were disappointed to have to sit in an area bereft of any form of cooling system when the... I'll start with the good. Firstly, the location is terrific. Hotel directly onto the beach, which has the largest tidal swing I have ever seen. Fortunately during the day the tide is out which results in simply stunning views. The hotel itself: very nice pool. A large area with more than enough sunbeds to accommodate all the guests. The pool... More

Stayed here in February this year. Very good location. The chalets are set in the grounds with trees and shrubs nearby, no high rise here. It made for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, probably a little too quiet for some people but we found it ideal. There was not a lot of entertainment going on but if you are having... More

We stayed at The Chalets for two weeks after a hectic 4 days in Bangkok. The resort is nice and quiet and very clean. The rooms are tucked away in the trees which was nice and made it quite private. The pool is lovely with plenty of umbrellas. We did find it hard to get a sunbed near the pool... More

OK accommodations, clean, quite well maintained, friendly staff... but that is average for Thailand. Frequented by the unadventurous variety of European tourists, mostly, so not obnoxious though not particularly interested in knowing real Thai culture. Restaurant is OK, but not great, and it's a fair taxi ride to the better restaurants in Hua Hin (or even Cha Am). At the... More
