My husband and i stayed at this resort with 14 of other travel agents and their partners in October 2008 - the end of the wet season. We arrived thinking that this place would be a "resort" compared to the village huts we stayed at on our trek in Chiang Mai. only 6 of us were "lucky" enough to receive a tree bungalow, the others were placed near the restaruant. 2 of the girls were given a room that didn't have roof on the bathroom, so visited the toilet in the middle of the night with an umbrella, a torch and toilet paper, to be greeted be greeted by a monkey.
Our bungalow was up in a tree along side another room. Our room was room 6 - very close to the neighbouring jungle, and an amazing bathroom - we had to climb a branch to reach the shower and duck to get up to the balcony to not hit your head.
The power is turned off at around 11 to conserve the energy,so pack a torch. The food was good and we had fun.
A word of warning, however is to not leave...
