If you want to stay in an inexpensive place right on the beach, within walking distance to the town, in the green season when there are no people around you can not do better than NTBR1or2 We had a beach bungalow for 12 nights and for 4of those nights none of the others were occupied, most days we had the... For my first time in Khao Lak I thought I would probably just stay 1 week then move to Cape Panwa however I stayed here for second week, just so relaxing. I was in 3rd floor apartment which was perfect for me. Breakfasts as mentioned previously aren't anything special but sitting on the waterfront enjoying the view certainly is and... More

We really loved Khao Lak, and this hotel was wonderful given the price. Being low season, we didn't have a problem with lounge chairs by the beach, but there aren't that many, so I can see how it may be a challenge at busier times (re: other reviews). If it were me, I'd just remove towels belonging to inconsiderate people... More

We have stayed there twice. The location is great, just a short walk from the main village. The staff is accommodating and friendly. My complaint is not enough beach loungers or chairs. In fact they worn and scarce. If you are not German, good luck finding one even if you are first to claim your spot. We did at 6:30... More

Stayed here for 1 night whilst taking a short break from Koh Yao Island. Rooms were nice & clean, check in was fine. Lovely grounds, nice beach area, food was nice. Just a short walk to a main street with shops, cash machine, 7/11. They have a complimentary golf buggy to take you up there if you needed it. Pool... More

Good location, good service. Room was clean. The canal running through the resort was definitely hurting, as others have mentioned. They need to get that fixed. We stayed here a couple of nights while doing some diving during the day, and the price was excellent (800 BHT at the time). Beach is not amazing, but it's nice, and a quick... More

Firstly the resort is well situated next to the town and the beach. The pool is small but absolutely aqdequate for cooling off. The villas are very modern very clean and the outdoor rain shower is a delight. I had a garden villa nd it was very peaceful. btw. no idea about the towel thing there was no one up... More

I stayed in a garden room (lovely location - private and peaceful) and overall thought the room and grounds were lovely, but the stench coming from the sewer (??) needs to be addressed. You can smell it when taking a shower, and elsewhere on the grounds. On a positive note I thought the location was ideal for easy access to... More

We loved this place. We had booked a beach front bungalow however when we arrived were told the bungalow was not available until the following day. We were offered a deal on a bungalow one row back which we chose to stay there the whole time. The restaurant is in a beautiful location although we only ate breakfast there, which... More

No, I won't complain about the towel thing (occupying the beachfront sunbeds all day) as so many other reviewers have done. It was not an issue at all for us, as the hotel was only half full in mid-March. But I must point out a couple of things that other reviewers seem to have missed entirely. For example, there is...
