We stayed for 4 nights in this wonderful hotel. And I can only agree with all the other positive reports: Large, clean, well maintained rooms set in a beautiful well kept garden. Nice to see and hear the birds around, we saw so many and close. All staff were very friendly and helpful, especially to mention the lady in the... More

Have just stayed a fortnight at this lovely peaceful place and really enjoyed it. We had a bungalow by the lagoon, waking up to the sun rising at 7 and the fish jumping out of the water. The room was cleaned everyday and sheets and towels changed everyday if you wanted. You had a choice. Check in was relaxed and... More

I think anyone who purports to being a top contributor should realise that fellow hotel guests are all too often the luck of the draw. I write this as I lie by the pool with every sun bed bar mine empty. We have a superb room beautifully appointed with all necessary amenities. The staff are very friendly, the food excellent, the location... More

As a top contributor I have never resorted to commenting about the guests in a hotel, only the place and the service I have received, but there has to be an exception to every rule and this is it. The hotel is a nice looking place with very pleasant and happy staff, who always say 'hello' and seem helpful. The... More

Wonderful week at the Blue Lagoon Resort. We visited to celebrate my mother's birthday, as she had visited twice before and loved it here. I can't fault the service, and the team did everything they could to make mum's birthday special including arranging a vase of flowers on the breakfast table, and giving her a card and present. The superior... More

This hotel is lovely and great value for money compared to some of the bigger hotels in the area. The villas are secluded and quiet and are beautifully clean and modern. The staff are all very friendly. Breakfast is great - a fair choice of food and fresh fruit. The hotel is situated on Khuk Khuk beach which is lovely... More

this hotel is really outstanding....you will stay in a wonderful house just for you ...very well furnished, very comfortable and beautiful. I have to mention only two things, but this is not negative...it is only something for me....you cant make your sleeping room completely dark as there are many windows and as you stay in the jungle you will hear... We wanted to get away from the rat-race, and found the perfect place. The Blue Lagoon resort is close enough to enjoy the restaurants and night-life of Khao Lak, but very peaceful and quiet for relaxing. This is a great little, family run hotel. The bungalows are beautifully appointed, with their own little kitchen, set in beautifully maintained gardens. It... More

Most of what I was going to say has already been said by other reviewers. The Blue Lagoon is a modern, very clean, small and quiet resort, yet still has a great deal of charm. The food is excellent and reasonably priced, a good choice at breakfast (included in price) and a very cheap restaurant next door. The beach is... More

Value for money. We stayed here for two nights with an interval of one night, because we did a liveaboard with six scuba dives at the Similan Islands (if you are a scuba fan, this is absolutely a must do). The lady at the reception knew this, so we could leave our bags in the room and she made sure... More
