Stayed here with loads of friends in early January ahead of a wedding. The Andamania is a really nice, peaceful resort with a good pool, a nice stretch of beach, and plenty of shady areas for chilling out. Rooms were excellent, loads of room, nice beds and really pleasant bathrooms. There are several restaurants within walking distance along the beach.... More

This was a great place to stay for about 40.00 US dollars . We had scooters so we got around okay. It is a bit far from shopping. They could do a bit of maintenance & have a place to hang your wet clothes. The chairs on the large balcony were horrible & there was no table on the balcony.... More

Everything here is amazing. The beach is gorgeous, the rooms the size of a small flat and the restaurant is great. One of the most friendliest staff I've ever encountered in a resort. Beach bar is great and there is a tiny (tad bit overpriced) supermarket. Once you're here, you don't need to go anywhere. Which is good, cause you're... More

The Andamania is an extremely good value hotel on a beautiful peaceful beach. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped and look out on to lovely gardens or the pool. The beach is quiet, but has a number of extremely good value restaurants scattered along it, so no need to go far to eat. However there is transport down... More

This hotel was exactly what we were looking for. Not too busy, close to the beach, nice pool and good facilities. Almost every night we walked along the beach to the first restaurant (close to JW Marriott) and we had a lot of nice meals there. The kids loved this place and the pool were perfect for them. The sound... More

It is a beautiful and very well kept resort, right on the beach. The beachbar was awesome, and so was the staff workinh there. Achii (sorry if the name is completely wrong) was the coolest. We had tons of fun. The poolarea, and garden are both beautiful, as are the rooms and the rest of the resort. Mr Ting (and... More

Andamania is a lovely place but... Its location is its biggest advantage but we could't help but feel isolated. It is a bit too far to walk to the village, taxi one way only costs 90 baht but you will pay doubble the price to come back so sometimes it was just better to pay a bit more and eat... More

When we arrived we experienced a very low engaged receptionist. The room was big but in a bad condition: stains on the bed sheets, very strong smell in the room and not very clean. We had absolute no privacy as it was ground floor and due to windows. When we wanted to change the room they did not react. we... More

First off, completely ignore the "Dirty 1 star" review. Hilarious review from an obviously unseasoned traveler. This hotel is a little farther north of the action in Khao Lak. It's not the Four Seasons, and I wouldn't want it to be. We stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and the town. The hotel has a nice breakfast... More

Stayed for 4 nights found the room clean and comfortable. I think it would be better if they had a cafe or shop on the premises open longer hours as it didnt appear to have room service, I also found the staff on reception not very willing to assist or offer advice, breakfast was just acceptable, but lovely meals of...
