- I stayed at Le Jacaranda for 3 nights and really enjoyed my time there. The place is ideally located in a nice area of Arusha, has clean rooms, free wifi internet and a nice restaurant. Omari Basseporte who manages the Jacaranda + his team were very friendly. Omari also helped me a lot make my safari and travel bookings.... More

The only good thing about this place is the food and the old man that works as a waiter. The woman at reception is rude and condescending. The other staff are disinterested. The rooms are terrible - awful beds, awful bathrooms, terrible concrete floors. This was my 2nd of three trips to Arusha and definitely this is the one place... More

I stayed at Le Jacaranda for a few nights in January 2014 before and after my safari and I would recommend this place. The hotel is a good address combining: - good facilities (Internet, laundry service, all room have vans and nets), - excellent food and service, - perfect location: 5min from the Barclays Bank, great transport connection to the... We stayed in Le Jacarande Hotel before and after our safari, one night each time. The hotel in general was good, especially compared to Tanzania standards. I read some comments that complain about the hotel and it seems they forget that they are not in a fancy resort area of Europe, so of course you will not get elegant coffee... More

Cold outdated rooms and bed sheets, curtains. Plumbing on the dodge. Dinner disappointing. But a lovely setting and with a renovation I'm sure this place could get back to its former glory. There are any better hotels walkable.

We stayed here 4 nights, in 3 different rooms (before & after the safari, before & after climbing Kilimanjaro). The rooms are basic, not very cozy, but at least it's clean and if you need any help (for example if you want them to change the mosquito net of your bed), the problem will be solved quickly. The staff is... More

We ended up staying here our last night in Arusha, after our safari. This hotel has significant potential, but is completely lacking in execution. Positives: large room, hot water in the shower, comfortable bed, restaurant onsite Negatives: Very poor WiFi, not available in the room After getting into our hotel a man knocked on our door and said someone needed... Excellent hotel! Delicious breakfast in the morning and delicious restaurant at night! Loved the rooms - beautiful walkway to get to all rooms. Comes with mosquito netting and is wonderful overall. Great choice. Convenient location. Less than 10 minute walk from Arusha center and many restaurants even closer.

I was here for 3 nights total on a 3 week trip to Tanzania. I think for Arusha, this place is great. It provided hot showers, wifi (although it wasn't working one day, and when it was working it was only near the front desk), delicious food and decent rooms. Service was cooperative, which was nice because we had a... More

I stayed here a couple years ago for a day before and one day after a week-long safari through most of upper TZ. For me, the location is PERFECT if you are transfering to / from Nairobi airport. Several bus operators stop at the parking lot outside the Greek Club (Rainbow does, as do at least a couple others), making... More
