Arusha Coffee Lodge offers upmarket lodgings set in beautiful surroundings ona coffee estate just North of the city and conveniently close to Arusha domestic Airport. The menu selection is good and the food acceptable albeit a little pricy, this establishment is catering to the upmarket foreign tourist market after all, service is very good and the setting and atmosphere fantastic... We stayed here for one night only. The atmosphere is very friendly and professional. Food is good and reasonably priced. But, as it is the case with many other comparable places as well, unfortunately there are almost no African dishes on the menu. Our standard room was spacy and nicely furnished in a local style. For me being a private... More

I would not recommend staying there for long but it provides a very convenient stopping place on the way to more exciting areas. Rooms are fine and the food is OK. More

We stayed here for 2 nights before our safari . Not much to do in Arusha but it was nice to just relax in a nice hotel after a long trip. We had a suite. Beautiful room but it was far from the lobby. My husband had problems walking on the gravel road. No wheelchair access. We had a nice... More

The room was ok. The food was horrid. Even the breakfast. And the food is expensive. Our safari company suggested this hotel. The bathroom was acceptable. The 'special coffee' soaps fell apart as we used them; the shower leaked onto the floor. Why spend the money? More

We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of our safari, after having spent the first night in Dar (see the review of the Hilton Double Tree). Frankly, I have no clue why we stayed the night in Arusha at the coffee lodge, unless the safari organizer has some kind of deal. Although the lodge is fine and we have... More

We stayed (family of seven with four pavillions/rooms) there to end a 12 day Safari, resting and visiting the Heritage Museum close to the Lodge as well as the Coffee Plantation and it's social project for disabled people. Lodge is very comfortable, mostly for guests on transfer, so lot's of changes. Food ok, we enjoyed the five course dinners and... More

We recently stayed at the property (in two unique rooms) and enjoyed the overall coffee plantation ambience as well as the level of friendly service provided. The included breakfasts were good as well. However, we were not impressed with the soft goods in the room, nor the current state of the bathrooms. In our minds, the ownership needs to update... More

Stayed at the Coffee Lodge for 2 nights before returning home, it is mostly a stopover base. The rooms are lodges in the grounds and are excellently appointed, although can be a bitbof anwalk on gravel paths back to the main hotel. Restaurant More
