Very nice hotel with a choice of 4 restaurants. Room was good quality with a round bed! This was ok for us but would not be good for anyone taller than 6ft as it was quite small. We had a very bad waiter in the evening which spoilt the evening more

After reading some bad reviews I was a little worried, but whe we arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was nice, the rooms were decent and the food was good. The pool was a good spot to relax and there are nice views of Mt. meru. A good value for the money. more

The design of this hotel is very strange and hazardous. There are rooms that do not have access to the outside, i.e. both your entry door and your window opens to a corridor. I had never seen this before. This means that there are rooms that are in the middle of corridors! the most strange thing about this is that... more

After 8 days spent on Kilimanjaro it was a lovely treat to be staying in a hotel like this. With a grand entrance and very helpful porters assisting with luggage to your rooms. Check in was fast and painless. Room was spacious with a view of the pool and gardens. Large double bed - extremely comfy! Satillite TV with english... more

I checked into the Impala Hotel after a bad experience in a restaurant in one of the 5 star hotels where I had initially been booked. My stay at the Impala Hotel's new wing was superb. Plus I had excellent meals from a variety of their magnificant restaurants. They have an amazing pool; and the property is well priced, worth... more

Stayed here for a few nights pre/post safari. Reception staff were amusingly rude at all times. The food was alright, though the breakfast wasn't the best. Our first room was looking over a building site, with no A/C, and tiny. A friendly chat with the porter got us moved to a better one overlooking the pool which was bigger and... more

We stayed here before our safari trip. The hotel was basic and for the most part, fairly clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious. more

I was adviced by a fellow traveller to try Impala Hotel. We were drop off to the hotel by a shuttle where our luggage were quickly ushered to the reception by the porter. The check in was quick done by proffesionals - very neat and friendly. I asked for the new rooms, the rates are good. The rooms are not... more

We stayed for 3 nights while shopping for a safari/ The reservation worked fine by email, and we got USD10 discount by asking for a seniors discount. There were lots of problems with our first room - no A/C (when we reported it they brought a portable unit about 11pm), nissing fridge (we did not realize that we should have... more

We stayed at the Impala for one night before and after our Kilimanjaro climb, so were desperately in need of a good night's sleep and good food on both occassions and that's exactly what we got. Room 800A was super-spacious with chairs, couches, comfy king bed, TV and a huge bathroom. Clean and functional - absolutely ideal! Sure, the food's... more
