Stayed here for 1 night before safari, and I got the impression that this place could do better. Everything is very basic, from the cottages to the breakfast through the garden - with a bit more attention I think it would be a nicer experience for all the travellers. I especially didn't like the poor shower with scarce water.

We have stayed in L'Oasis Lodge several times on the way to safaris in Tanzania. The place is OK for a single overnight stay, but there is a lot of noise from the surrounding communities; not least the nearby church! Breakfast is acceptable and the Internet is fine (but only in the reception area).

The staff at l'oasis lodge was absolutely fantastic (especially helping us with retrieving our luggage which got lost) and super sweet, but the downside was that there was music until 2am in the morning, so we and the kids couldn't get enough sleep (and since we took a night flight, we really needed to rest). However it was explained to... More

Very nice bungalows, very good and tasty food, very helpful and kind staff. The common areas, garden, lounge and pool were clean, cosy and very well kept. Getting there was a bit it tricky as one of the two access roads was closed and all muddy during the rainy season, it should be fixed soon though. Enjoy your stay there!!!!!

We stayed here for two nights before we headed to Serengeti for our safari . We were travelling from USA and were pretty jet lagged and staying at this place made it even worse. we could here dog's barking all night and there was no electricity almost all night. I couldn't sleep couldn't even read a book because of electricity... More

I only stayed here a night on the start of my safari, but it was completely fine for that purpose. Staff were really nice. Good hot water, but overall just okay for a night. Breakfast was good and was restful after a long flight.

Wonderful, very helpful!! Staff was great, good food and great feel. They held our bags for us as we went to Zanzibar, we also had our laundry done here after a 2 week safari and the prices were reasonable and the wash was great!

At first glance this is a great place. The huts are charming, and they are decorated very nicely. The beds and pillows are fairly comfortable. And the main lodge is awesome. Comfortable chairs to sit it and read or listen to the guitar player. Very relaxing. And the staff is very friendly and helpful. The food also is not bad.... More

Has a small but nice pool. First room did not have hot water. Electricity was out on the morning we left. Noisy during the night even around 4am. Dinner was not too diverse. Arusha is very chaotic and not really interesting.

We had rental car trouble and could not revisit Arusha NP as planned for our last night in TZ. Our operator made this lodge arrangement and we were pleased to have a nice and quiet place to clean up, repack and rest before returning to the USA. This lodge is fenced in and feels secure, even though it is located... More
