L'Oasis was a little bit of a trek from city center in Arusha, but it's in a nice laid back sort of neighborhood and it wasn't so far that we couldn't walk into town to go see museums or go to the market. We stayed at L'Oasis for three nights and paid for half board, which is a great idea,... More

The rooms are quite spacious, and the mattresses were comfy. Nice hot showers, and although it was too cold to use the pool it was nice to sit on the nicely maintained deck chairs and read. Breakfast and dinner was included for us booking through base camp tours, and the buffet breakfast was excellent, 5 stars. Real hot chocolate powder,... More

The hotel is basic, clean in a nice environment even if it could be better maintained and generally speaking the people's attitude is not friendly. We told them that we did need to have two rooms because we were able to stay in one room only even if our agency already paid for two, they sold the second room and... More

have been in this lodge for 5 nights, 1 before and 4 after our safari. Is nice place to stay, quiet basic but with all what you need. Good kitchen at fair price. Not all day they have the extended menu, but smaller menu gives enough variety. Very friendly and helpfull staff. When we wanted to pay some problems with... More

L'Oasis was a great place to stay before and after our safari. The rooms are cute in the little huts, inside they are comfortable, with lovely hot showers and a lot of space. It was too cold to swim in the pool, but it looked attractive and clean. The hotel seems to be located in the bush, it is set... More

We hade a nice time in the lodge coming back from the kilimangaro but i would choose beter for next time. No hot water, no wifi as shown, small child bed in twin room, tip driven stuf and poor food. Sadly i must say its a beautyfull place in strange location with poor management.

We arrived at L'Oasis late at night the 18th of February. The bar stayed open so we could have something to drink and some snacks after our long flight. We stayed at the "lower floor", and even though the standard was lower than the rest of the hotel, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing and did... More

L'Oasis was our home away from home for our multi-week visit to Tanzania. We stayed here on 3 separate instances between each of our adventures. Two nights upon our arrival in Arusha, then another night after climbing Kilimanjaro, then another night after our return from Camping in the Serengeti. We, honestly, dreamt of returning to the L'Oasis pool while we... More

Hotel L'Oasis is located in a local village-like part of Arusha, and one can get an impression of local life just outside of the hotel. STill it is within walking distance to central town. The Hotel garden is lush, green, quiet, and the rooms very nice.

From the moment we arrived until we left the staff were very courteous and helpful. The rooms are simple but very comfortable. They say there is no wifi in the rooms but on both occasions we were in rooms close enough to the main reception and we streamed video's on you tube without any problem. (room 17 and 19) Room...
