We arrived at L'Oasis very late as a result of a delayed flight from Nairobi. The Lodge knew of our late arrival as a driver had been arranged through our tour company to take us from the airport. When we finally arrived at the property, the lights on the grounds were off making our walk to our room "interesting" only... More

Our family spent 3 nights here during part of a larger African adventure. The staff was fantastic… friendly, accommodating and helpful. We all loved the small pool on a hot day. The food was great. The location is on the edge of town. We recommend this place.

This was a lovely lodge, only really let down by a very disappointing shower - hot water, which was nice, but pretty much a trickle due to really weak water pressure. We were staying here after 3 days climbing Mount Meru, so we probably felt the lack of a good shower more than most people would! Aside from that, this... More

I enjoyed my 5 nights at L'Oasis Lodge (2 before the safari, 3 after). It is a good non-city location. There is a wide variety of meals on the menu, and the meals are great. The drinks served at the lounge were very reasonably priced. The lounge and pool area were great areas to relax. Our bungalow with en-suite was... More

L'Oasis is a well run hotel in the outskirts of Arusha. Rooms are simply decorated (a bedroom with mosquito tent, a table and chairs) but clean. We had the opportunity to stay in two different bungalows and they both were OK. We spent two nights there, one before the safari and one after it. The owner is a kind Swedish... More

Friendly staff who were helpful to teach us Swahili. The Indian food and breakfast is delicious, I would not recommend the other food. The location is quite far from the main street up a very rocky, dusty road, this was fine for us as we wanted the "African experience". Other reviews talk about water temp/pressure, electricity going off, churches with... More

Dear RaiRai13, Thank you for your review. We are aware of the sounds around town, the government are pushing the question for Arusha to be a more quite city. It sure is an "African Experience". Best Regards, L'oasis staff More

We had a wondeful time at L'Oasis. The staff was very helpful and serviceminded. They serve a deldelicious breakfast buffé and lovley indian cuisine for those who like for dinner. Our days spent at L'Oasis were very calm and relaxing. We had some great days there before and after our Safari adventure

we enjoyed our stay at the oasis. the rooms were spacious. the grounds were really pretty. The staff are very friendly. the pool is tiny but was fine for a dip and the lounges around the pool were comfy. The 2 complaints are that the shower pressure was almost no existent at times and there is a church nearby where... More

We stayed there 2 nights (before safari and after). Staff is good but for dinner you must wait almost one hour... Bungalows are tight and dark Pool is looking like a big bathtub Next door from this lodge is a church and if you have bungalows from his site you will not be happy (listen to the prayers and songs...
