Simple hotel, clean and comfortable, rooms traditionally african but with all the comfort. Food was amazing, staff was always smiling, lounge area is great. Location was quite good, about 5 minutes by car from city center. Would recommend and stay here again.

We stopped by L'Oasis on the way to the Serengeti and Kilimanjaro. The hotel is fairly run down, rooms are basic with some holes in the windows. The toilet was also faulty. The staff are however generally friendly and helpful. The first night we slept over there was a huge party in a venue next to the hotel that lasted... More

We arrived at L'Oasis very late as a result of a delayed flight from Nairobi. The Lodge knew of our late arrival as a driver had been arranged through our tour company to take us from the airport. When we finally arrived at the property, the lights on the grounds were off making our walk to our room "interesting" only... More

Our family spent 3 nights here during part of a larger African adventure. The staff was fantastic… friendly, accommodating and helpful. We all loved the small pool on a hot day. The food was great. The location is on the edge of town. We recommend this place.

This was a lovely lodge, only really let down by a very disappointing shower - hot water, which was nice, but pretty much a trickle due to really weak water pressure. We were staying here after 3 days climbing Mount Meru, so we probably felt the lack of a good shower more than most people would! Aside from that, this... More

I enjoyed my 5 nights at L'Oasis Lodge (2 before the safari, 3 after). It is a good non-city location. There is a wide variety of meals on the menu, and the meals are great. The drinks served at the lounge were very reasonably priced. The lounge and pool area were great areas to relax. Our bungalow with en-suite was... More

L'Oasis is a well run hotel in the outskirts of Arusha. Rooms are simply decorated (a bedroom with mosquito tent, a table and chairs) but clean. We had the opportunity to stay in two different bungalows and they both were OK. We spent two nights there, one before the safari and one after it. The owner is a kind Swedish... More

Friendly staff who were helpful to teach us Swahili. The Indian food and breakfast is delicious, I would not recommend the other food. The location is quite far from the main street up a very rocky, dusty road, this was fine for us as we wanted the "African experience". Other reviews talk about water temp/pressure, electricity going off, churches with... More

Dear RaiRai13, Thank you for your review. We are aware of the sounds around town, the government are pushing the question for Arusha to be a more quite city. It sure is an "African Experience". Best Regards, L'oasis staff More
