My husband and I stayed in the north Ang'ata camp for three nights and this place blew us away. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The food was first class and they came up with a number of tasty vegetarian options which I was over the moon with. The tents are immaculate, clean... More

We only stayed one night here but it was a memorable one! The tents luxurious, huge king bed, lovely hot showers, and a 3 course dinner where each course outdid the other. At night you could hear lions in the distance and hyena.

We stayed 2 nights at the Ang'ata Migration Camp near Ndutu in February 2014. It was in a scenic location and perfectly located for game driving. The tents were huge, with a comfortable king sized bed along with a love seat and other furnishings. The bathroom was well laid out with separate toilet, vanity, and shower areas. We had a... More

It was our first tented camping experience and I’ve got to say, wow! Angata Migration Camp was beautiful. The tent was well-designed and very clean. We felt very close to nature. I like that it’s located right in the middle of the wildebeest migration. There were a lot of wildebeest and zebras right next to the camp. One night we... More

Stayed for 2 nights in Ndutu area. Huge luxurious tents with kingsize bed, en-suite toilets with hot water. Food was set menu buffet style. There are no fences around the camp area, so animals move around on the camp ground. You can see wildebeast, zebras, gazelles etc. on their migration path to Serengeti lying on your bed. The silence of... More

This is a fabulous place with extremely attending individualized service and high quality tents. We with two adults and two small kids were in the large tent having two large rooms and a proper bathroom. Wild animals walks inside and outside the camp area, so you might see and hear zebras, antilopes, giraffes, wildebeest, elephants and even hyenas, cheetahs, lions... More

We loved staying here, and stayed for 2 nights. There are 12 tents-large canvas tents with a wooden floor and a porch. The mess tent is very nice and is enclosed in a zippered very large tent. 2 bottles of water were provided per day. There is hot and cold water. Showers were only in the evening, and the water smelled... More

Ang'ata Migration Camp is a semi-permanent camp set in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in the region which hosts the Great Wildebeest Migration between January and April. It is an amazing place and I tell this after having stayed at dozens of camps in Tanzania. Great location, right in the middle of the action, very big, comfortable tents, flush toilets, shower... We visited this camp for 3 nights as part of our 10 day safari with private guide/vehicle in tanzania. It is a midclass tented camp with privat shower, sink an flushing toilet. We love to sleep in tents because of nature sounds at night (lions roaring, hyaenas laughing) and no creepy crawlys inside the room. At the end of an... More

We are a group of recreational photographers, who stayed in Ang'ata Camp, a mobile camp in Ndutu, for purposes of safari. Ndutu is the only National Park in which off road exploration is allowed, so you can get VERY CLOSE to the wildlife. Hence, the camp has a head start because of an ideal location... Otherwise, the tents are spacious,... More

Dear Belinda, thank you for taking the time to review our camp in Ndutu. Just for the record, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is not a national park and off-road game drives are only tolerated to a certain degree, but as you say, it may be one of the few remaining places where it is possible to get so close to...
