Staff are swift and keen on details. I stopped over for a business lunch and was not disappointed. Had my lunch at the garden and the environment is totally serene.Keep up the good work and motivation.

We stayed there in February for 2 nights before starting a 1 week safari. It is a nice, modern, spotless, commercial-type hotel that was the perfect transition on our arrival in Africa (for the 1st time). The room was large, nicely set-up, clean and had a great view of Mt. Meru. The restaurants were excellent and very moderately priced for... More

Very nice hotel for the area. The staff is always attentive and nice, most of the time remember you after they've seen you once, which is nice. The food is never disappointing, the view of Mount Meru is always breath taking from the front rooms. The pool is also nice but VERY cold and in several years of staying here... More

Since i arrived late in the night, i chose and slept in a nearby lodge but had meetings the next day in Mount Meru hotel. As I walk there in the morning, it starts raining heavily & am all socked & wet. Management took me to the laundry room, gave me dry & warm clothes, then happily cleaned, ironed &... More

Hotel is getting quite old and many of the features are very old-fashioned or don't work. Dark furnishings in bedrooms, leaking shower tray (in both the rooms I had over a two-week stay), electric sockets in the breakfast area non-functional, etc. But it has a lovely pool area and nice grounds overlooking the golf course one way and Mt Meru... The hotel is quite nice, on manicured grounds next to a golf course. The rooms are spacious and include a refrigerator, flat screen tv, and more westernized bathrooms. There is also a nice fitness room in the hotel as well as a few restaurants/bars (though one, by the front desk, was closed our entire stay). Staff is extremely personable and gracious.... More

The Mount Meru has a very prominent location just outside "downtown" Arusha. The property is large, with a lovely garden, pool, ample grounds and parking. We were here on business/pleasure, one suite and two rooms. The suite and rooms are smart and suitable. We have stayed here before and all facilities combined the Mount Meru does come out on top.... It has an amazing pool, loads of free parking and such good food, but warning, the food is over prised and the service is very slow. It has wonderful but small crowded rooms. It also has amazing flowers, it is an amazing place for photo shoots.

We only stayed here by default for 1 night, because the tour company we had booked through, had made a mess of the flights and hotel bookings and we arrived in Arusha to find we were not expected for another 24 hours - so no bed when we arrived. The only room they could find for us was at the... More

I stayed here for 2 nights on business, the hotel itself was outstanding and the coffee I bought in the little shop was delicious when we had it back home. The view of Mount Meru was brilliant. I just felt sad when I was eating breakfast the day I was leaving knowing how poor the area is as they were... More
