It is a great hotel, but The Service could be better. We were here 3 times in two weeks, but the restaurant called us to go to the reception to give my credit card number (with I have payed two times last week.... I can't imagine what they thought). Their english is not the best. The building and the rooms... More

Great place to stay in Arusha either before or after your Safari. Clean comfortable rooms, great pizza at the pool bar. The hotel is also frequented by climbers coming back from Kili. We stayed one night prior to our safari and spent the afternoon there before flying out. Recommend.

I stayed here only two hours as a "day room" between safari and international departure. The staff was friendly and the room comfortable and clean. The hotel has a luxury feeling, which for some travelers may be reassuring before or after the rigors of travel in rural Tanzania or for a business traveler to Arusha. But for style, I much... More

For most people on safari in northern Tanzania, this hotel is the first stop after a long flight into Kilimanjaro airport. It has all the comforts of a western hotel: Nice rooms with hot water, a pool, nice breakfast. A great place to start your journey.

Stayed one night and could experiment a room that is comfortable, spacious, clean, with all the amnesties. The hotel is well kept, surrounded by large gardens. Check in was a bit slow, wifi was ok and free, breakfast was great. Charged 4% for the use of the credit card, which I am not sure is proper. The down side of... More

Upon entry in the late evening the porters were very nice and friendly. We had two rooms booked for two nights. It took a long time for the front desk to register us and once we were settling in we found out that they moved our young adult kids to another room. We had requested twin beds for them which... We stayed here to connect with an international flight. The hotel is set in beautiful gardens, pool and patios and is like an oasis surrounded by this busy city. Hotel is modern and functional. Room was clean and comfortable but they couldn't lend me an international adaptor to charge devices. Air conditioning was a challenge but we finally got it... More

We held a conference here last year and if you ate thinking of doing the same I would advise against it. Basically the hotel it very nice indeed, with fantastic grounds, fairly good food and mostly very friendly staff. The problem comes in the fact that the events team have seemingly no communication with the reception staff. Relevant details of... More

I stayed for 1 night just before I started my safari. The view out my window of Mount Meru was absolutely stunning, although it was shrouded in clouds (perhaps more stunning because of that). I was very nicely welcomed and my room as great - clean, comfortable and well maintained. The only drawback for me were the mediocre (at best)... More
