Very good, international standing hotel. Rooms are big, clean, with vice view of the Mount Meru volcano or of the nice, large hotel park. Staff is extremely nice, professional. And the restaurant is pretty good, too. In short, a very pleasant stay. I visited other hotels in town, but no one has the standing of the Mount Meru. So, I... More

I realise the hotel industry in this region is still growing and evolving but nonetheless, this hotel touts itself to be quite high-end. The high prices for various services are testament to that. I'll keep this short as I find myself rather drained by my time here. Room decor is average at best, bathrooms very small and cramped (the only... More

This hotel is a solid choice! Excellent food and service with beautiful views of grounds, Mt Meru and golf course. Our room was small but well designed and efficient. The restaurant and coffee shop is good and fairly priced. We will definitely be back.

Our first night in Tanzania before leaving for safari. This was a comfortable hotel to recover from a long journey and just chill by the pool. It is on a busy road but far enough back for that not to be a problem. It was more stylish than I expected and both the rooms and the public areas were tastefully... More

First room was warm, ac not working. Changed to 2nd room, almost the last room of the floor thus weak wifi signal. Table not properly set up for breakfast (as in i dont expect this kind of service since they claim themselves 4 star). They dont have loose change everywhere from front desk, coffee shop, souviner shop and also money... More

A really lovely place, the staff were really friendly & so helpful. When we stayed the president of Tanzania stayed there too. To their credit apart from higher security at the hotel it did not affect our enjoyment of the facilities and we were treated every bit as well as the president!

Stayed in an executive suite for 2 nights. Reception was crowded and slow and got rates wrong. They also charge 4% fee for payments by card. Room was elegant but details were missed out. No room service menu, locked safe not usable, touch dialling for housekeeping on phone not working. Poor lighting in bathroom made shaving a problem. Restaurant and... More

As a hotel for business trip, the hotel was great. Good but somewhat small room overlooking the park. The bathroom is rather small but sufficient if you travel alone. Internet connection was good and sufficient, something I did not expect. The hotel is quite the contrast to the buzzling life in Arusha, being located in a park style set up.... More

I'm on my second night at Mount Meru Hotel and I'm having an enjoyable time. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The staff have been very helpful to us. We had to go into town a few times and they arranged a taxi for us. Beware the taxi drives will try to overcharge. You should as the staff what the... More
