We had a great time at Christina's House. The rooms are comfortable, the staff accomodating, the food very good and the lounge area perfect for chilling after a long safari drive. It is located a bit outside Arusha, next to a busy road, so light sleepers might need earplugs. Christina really took care of us, arranging taxi's, stopping and instructing... More

The room is quite spacious and clean, and food by local women is superb. It's a bit out of town centre, but just 10-min drive (45-min to Kilimanjaro airport). The big problem is the shower. Water runs very slowly , and maybe because one of the taps is out of order, either the water is too cold, or the shower... More

I stayed here for one night prior to commencing a safari. Christina kindly picked us up from the bus stop just down the road from her house, which meant we avoided the hustle and harassment of the central bus station. We were given tea and coffee on a tray after arrival. Some local women cooked a delicious meal for us... More

My mother and I had a fantastic stay at Christina House last September. She and her nephew picked us up from the airport, and were kind and generous throughout our stay. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was more than what we expected, and the garden was lovely. The food was also excellent, and were extremely accommodating to our dietary... More

My wife and I stayed twice with mama Christina for two days each. Beautiful B&B with very friendly staff. Mama Christina takes care of everyone as if you are part of the family. Not to far away from Arusha and very fast transfer to town.

This is where we spent our first night in Tanzania. Christina's son picked us up at the bus station (we had a very comfortable bus ride from the airport in Nairobi). We were able to nap and relax and slept very well. The atmosphere was wonderful and it felt great to support a local business. Our safari (Duma) picked us... More

We stayed in Christina’s House in the end of September of 2013 for 4 nights before going to Zanzibar. Me and my mum we looked for a nice place to feel like at home and to be closer to the Tanzanian culture and people and we got it at Cristina House thanks to Cristina and her staff – Helen and... The B&B is about ten minutes from downtown Arusha - well worth it if you want a more African feel and don't care about walking in the City. The rooms are small but comfortable; the property is well maintained and the food is excellent (as it was in most places in Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa). Christina is personable and... More
