I found myself in Tanzania once more and decided once again to stay at Christina House. This time for about two weeks. As usual, the food was excellent. It was chilly so we had soups as appetizers every night: delicious! The grounds are secluded and quiet, and not far from the marketplace or the city. The ride from the airport... More

Christina House is a beautiful lodge, tucked away by banana trees. The rooms are clean and spacious and the showers are lovely. Christina, Jackie and Hilda were all so welcoming and friendly, even giving us a short tour around the local area. The food was wonderful home cooking; local and tasty. Its a small, personal and welcoming place. Highly recommended.

We spent 5 days at Christina House, where we were welcomed warmly. It is a perfect location after getting off a long flight as it is situated nearer to the Kilimanjaro airport than Arusha center. For daily trips to the center of Arusha ( 20 minutes by car ) Christina is well surrounded with contacts of well experienced people to... More

We stayed here for 1 night. The hotel was nice and cute and the staff were friendly and served delicious food. The only disappointment was the size of the room and the cleanliness of the bathroom. Otherwise would recommend as a nice place to stay close to the city centre.

This guesthouse is perfect,it is small and. Intimate enough to give each client a personal attention. We only stayed one night but we wished we would have stayed longer. The food was typical Tanzanian,oh local and lovely!!!...breaskfast and dinner. Great atmosphere on the terrace. The staff were friendly and very kind.I recommend Christina house.

We had a great time at Christina's House. The rooms are comfortable, the staff accomodating, the food very good and the lounge area perfect for chilling after a long safari drive. It is located a bit outside Arusha, next to a busy road, so light sleepers might need earplugs. Christina really took care of us, arranging taxi's, stopping and instructing... More

The room is quite spacious and clean, and food by local women is superb. It's a bit out of town centre, but just 10-min drive (45-min to Kilimanjaro airport). The big problem is the shower. Water runs very slowly , and maybe because one of the taps is out of order, either the water is too cold, or the shower... More

I stayed here for one night prior to commencing a safari. Christina kindly picked us up from the bus stop just down the road from her house, which meant we avoided the hustle and harassment of the central bus station. We were given tea and coffee on a tray after arrival. Some local women cooked a delicious meal for us... More

My mother and I had a fantastic stay at Christina House last September. She and her nephew picked us up from the airport, and were kind and generous throughout our stay. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was more than what we expected, and the garden was lovely. The food was also excellent, and were extremely accommodating to our dietary... More

My wife and I stayed twice with mama Christina for two days each. Beautiful B&B with very friendly staff. Mama Christina takes care of everyone as if you are part of the family. Not to far away from Arusha and very fast transfer to town.
