A little disappointing, quiet and strange numbering of rooms. Rooms were adequate, pool small and next to the main road, buffet breakfast fine and evening meal quite tasty. It is a taxi ride from Arusha so little to walk around outside. Pleasant staff, and Rose's gift shop has some quality, well- priced goods in comparison with offerings over the rest... More

We recently stayed at the Snow Crest Hotel before and after climbing Kilimanjaro. This is a large hotel with loads of rooms (although I think we were the only 12 people staying there). The food was quite good and the beer was cold. The service certainly left a lot to be desired. Very strange atmosphere in the lobby and hallways.... More

The room was large with a large bathroom (which oddly was fitted with scales!). The hotel had a pool, which we weren't there long enough to use, and a bar, restaurant and gift shop, which we were. The staff were friendly and attentive and breakfast and dinner very good with vegetarian options. The prices were reasonable, and the gift shop... More

Nice hotel with clean rooms and facilities. But the atmosphere is cold and like an old age home waiting for something to happen. A little music in the restaurant and reception wouldn't go amis. The staff were friendly and the food took a while, but was good. I'll visit again, but I really hope the management take note of what... More

I had an infant with me and though they provided a crib, all the rooms face an open courtyard amphitheater type set up. It is so loud. If anyone shuts a door the walls are paper thin. You can hear talking even if people are whispering. DO NOT come to this hotel if you have small children. :) I was... More

Stayed here before and after climbing Kilimanjaro, the hotel was lovely and clean upon arrival and had porters to take our (very heavy) bags to our rooms. The lobby had a lot of space with chairs and tables and it also had free wi fi in lobby and bar in the hotel. On way to kili we stayed for one... More

We were on a 21 day tour of Kenya and Tanzania March and April 2014 and stayed at the Snow Crest Hotel in Arusha, Tanazania for three (3) nights. The service at the hotel was excellent and the rooms were first class. We had breakfast and dinners at the hotel and were very pleased with the food. The Hotel is... More

I have stayed at the Snow Crest Hotel twice while accompanying my partner on his business trips. The staff are very friendly but the managers are out of reach! What I dislike most is the breakfast! They have the worst breakfast! The rooms are superb especially the shower. The beds are comfortable. The gym equipment were not working on both... More

We stayed in this hotel before and after climbing Mt Kilimanjaro. Considering the conditions in the tents on the side of a mountain, the hotel is a welcomed sight of returning back to normality. However, the hotel room layout and numbering can leave you puzzled to where your room is actually located. Normally in hotels the rooms with a number... More
