Our safair began and ended at Ahadi Lodge, a restful oasis of beauty in Arusha. The staff is warm, friendly, helpful. The food is excellent. We could not have been more pleased. The Lodge buildings are set in a meticulously maintened garden within a secure, gated coumpound, completely walled off from the surrounding rough and tumbel neighborhood,

When we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff who were happy to help however they could. The accommodation was simple, comfortable and clean. It's ideal for short term stays. The food was incredible! It was fresh, delicious and well-presented. The wait and bar staff were just delightful.

On arriving to Arusha on our way to the Kilimanjaro hike, and after a 15 hours flight and driving through the crowded run down road, our expectations were quite "average" in where we were heading, only interested in a clean bed!! But on entering Ahadi from the little street it is found, we felt like being transformed into a different... More

We took a day room at this lodge prior to departing Tanzania. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and the room is functional. Water was warm and the room was clean and usable (though the bathroom was odd - no privacy - so if 1 person was using the facility, others had to step out). What I did not like... More

I stayed here, pre and post a Kilimanjaro trek and Tanzanian safari. I unfortunately had to depart the mountain with an injury and I was most easily accommodated back to the hotel on very short notice. The staff were all wonderful, teaching me little bits of phrases in multiple languages to utilise. I even had the opportunity to go on... More

Erica is a truly wonderful hostess -- flexible, attentive without being intrusive, and providing excellent service and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The lodge is behind gates in Arusha proper, and anyone bothered by barking dogs at night might consider other options. But night sounds on safari are part of the experience, in my view, and we enjoyed our one night... More

We stayed at the hotel before and after our 3-day trek to Mount Meru. Convenient place. Friendly staff. The landlady is very nice. Food is good. The place is a little noisy at night, but it's not bad. The sensation of being enclosed in a bubble is a strange experience; the hotel is set in a very poor neighborhood, of... More

Stayed a couple nights at Ahadi Lodge before and after Safari/Kilimanjaro. First impression is that the drive to Ahadi Lodge leads you through a dark, bumpy drive that had us wondering where was our driver taking us. Pleasantly surprised by the Lodge itself. Surrounded by high wall and large gate, so you feel secluded from the city right outside. Rooms... More

We stayed in the Ahadi Lodge the night before our Kilimanjaro climb, after the climb for another night before our safari, then after the safari for a night before our departure. Very peasant place and Erica the owner is very friendly and helpful. The grounds are lovely with a nice pool. There is a outdoor bar and sitting area along... More

Our group stayed one night here at the end of a 2 week safari and biking trip in Tanzania. It was a lovely oasis - lovely green lawns, clean swimming pool, nice rooms, great food and a warm welcome from Erica. After 10 days ish of camp food it was a real treat to have a really nice dinner and... More
