My husband and I looked for a safe and quiet place to stay for a few weeks and found this lovely place. Andy, Lilian and ther staff gave us a warm welcome and offered excellent services. We enjoyed the homemade food, the comfortable beds, the clean rooms, the well kept garden and the interesting discussions. Whatever question or request we... More

Based on the good review, we selected this B&B, and indeed, it was a good choice. The room was simple and clean. We slept well in the comfortable bed for our short night stay. The staff and manager were very accommodating. We arrived late at night and needed to leave early to begin our safari journey. So they got up... More

Great service Andy was always smiling. Very clean spacious rooms, amazing breakfast fresh local fruit and juices would happily stay again views of mount Meru and the valley behind, couple of mongooses scurrying through the well manicured gardens

We stayed in this place for two nights with two of our grandchildren. When the iron gate of the complex is closed behind your car. You find yourself in a peaceful island of beauty. I would say that this is the ideal place to rest before or after a safari. The owner Andy and his wife are very nice, attentive... More

This was a great place to start, and end our safari. The place is clean, the staff is really friendly, the food was excellent and.. Yes, I can really recommend it! :) The location didn't bother us at all.

We stayed at Tumaini cottage for 2 nights whilst working at a school in Arusha, we left for Zanzibar but returned for further 3 nights. Andy the host was very accommodating and kept our luggage for us as we were flying in a very small aircraft from Arusha airport which is about 20 minutes away. We had dodgy tums whilst... More

We spent one night in this hotel. The owner Andy is very nice, a cool and quiet athmosphere and close to Arusha airport. Diner and breakfast were nice, as were the rooms. It's recommended to stay here after your safari.

Found Tumaini on Trip Advisor and Andy (The owner) picked us up @ Kilimanjaro Airport @ 110am on our arrival . Andy is the kindest man you'll ever meet. My wife & I stayed @ Tumaini for 2 nights before & 3 nights after our 12 day Safari. Andy & Lillian, his wife, made us feel right at home. The... More

A blessing in disguise as we had to change accommodations to tumaini. We had a wonderful stay and the manager, wife and staff made us feel at ease. The breakfast is simple and is what we needed. Though we were the only guests around the attention to detail would have still been the same if their were other guests.

We stayed here before and after our safari, and Andy couldn't have made it easier. He was very responsive to emails before our trip. He picked us up at 3 AM from the airport and got us settled into the rooms. The next day my husband and I rented bikes and rode around Arusha. One of the bikes was a... More
