Stayed for several days during climb and safari trip. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff always went above and beyond, including a changed room and a little later checkout when needed. Food is excellent and it was hard to leave to try other places knowing the food here was always gonna please. Will stay here again for sure.

We stayed here before and also after our safari. Of all the places we stayed in Tanzania this hotels customer service was the winner. Staff were all very helpful, room was clean and comfortable, food at dinner and breakfast was excellent. Pre arrival booking by email was great and our prebooked airport transfer was there when we arrived. A very... More

This hotel stands out for its service. Everyone was extremely kind and attentive to us for the one night we were there. When we got there, we found that they had already drawn a bath for us and filled it with rose petals for our honeymoon! The hotel is well maintained and the decor is lovely too. The food was... Driving through Arusha's main town for the first time, having come straight from the quiet beachfronts in Zanzibar we were a little overwhelmed by the noise and bustle, but when we drove into the Tulip's courtyard we found an oasis in amongst it all. The hotel is of a very high standard, large, clean, comfortable rooms, fantastic outdoor pool area... More

This hotel really stands out for its atmosphere and service. I have attended training and conferences here as well as had group dinners from the office. Its always nice food and great service. My only gripe is that it is a touch expensive. Its very nicely designed and decorated throughout.

We stayed at this hotel the first two nights of our photo safari trip to Tanzania. We stayed there two nights in late July, 2014 and arrived very late (at 3 AM) and by 9 AM we were eating a terrific breakfast buffet in the hotel restaurant. The dinner buffet was equally excellent. The staff at the hotel was most... More

Stayed at this hotel before and after our climb of Mount Kilimanjaro. It was a quaint and friendly hotel. The staff were awesome with respect to our needs (especially the manager). The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. The a/c and everything else worked fine. The restaurant for breakfast was great with fresh made eggs, roti and a variety of... More

I stayed at the African Tulip for a few days in November. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the breakfast perfectly reasonable and the staff kind/helpful. I enjoyed working with a cold beer at the pool bar where it was comfortable and quite. Though I didn't go in the pool it looked clean and refreshing. Wifi was reliable and worked... More

We had a very comfortable night at the African Tulip and would definitely stay there again if we were going through Arusha. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They notified us that our flight was leaving 2 hours later than scheduled and encouraged us to stay at the hotel and use our room and the facilities rather than wait... More

Stayed for three days in February of this year prior to the start of our safari. Highly recommend this hotel as they did a great job of looking after us. From the wonderful meals and very helpful staff to the lovely swimming pool it was all good. Wi-fi worked great while we sat out on our balcony enjoying the birds... More
