I selected the Fullon Hotel in Taoyuan because I had an early flight and it is reasonably close to the Taoyuan Intl. Airport. The hotel is quite new, having only opened in early 2007.

The check-in process took much longer than it should have because the receptionist seemed to be the only person manning the hotel's phones and our transaction was interrupted by at least four incoming calls.

The rooms are on the small side, but well furnished, comfortable, and decorated in soothing colors. They are equipped with large flat screen tv's. My room, however, lacked a clock! The housekeeping is meticulous and the beds are of high quality. Best of all, the hotel is very quiet.
