As a few here already mentioned the name of this hotel has already been changed to Chateau de Chine Hotel of Taoyuan. Was here on business for 1 night and it is an average hotel which I have nothing negative to say about it. The rooms are not new but clean and of a large size. The reception speaks good... More

This is an average hotel for the Asian standard but still good for westerns. I was upgraded in a huge room. Bed was good. Rooms are a bit old and need renovation. Breakfast was acceptable, nothing very special. Front desk ladies were all very kind. Location is good for those who want shopping. Plenty of shops open late in evening.... More

This former Chinatrust hotel has been re-branded and is now known as Chateau De Chine Hotel of Taoyuan. **[tripadvisor editor - may want to update the name so people can find it during their searches. Travelocity has it listed correctly, that is where my wife came across it]**. Of all the hotels we stayed at in Taoyuan and Taipei, this... More

Stayed here around New Year's Eve as most respectable hotels in Taipei were fully booked. Unlike most hotels in Taipei which is about 45 minutes away by train, the Chateau de Chine has the most spacious single room I've ever seen. My room was decorated in comfortable earthen tones with firm bed and pillows just as I like it. I... More

We stayed here one night only as were in transit. However it was a great stay. We found our room to be good and quiet. I note a remark of no safe in the room and I agree s safe would have been good to have. Otherwise a good stay, nice and helpful staff. We only had breakfast here which... More

I stayed at the Chateau de Chine in Aug 2013 for one night. This hotel is being re-branded. The lobby looks great. My room was clean but a bit dated. The breakfast was very good. Dinner looked good but I ate off the property. The hotel has a three washer/dryer combos for a quick laundry run. The only issue with... More

I stayed one night in this hotel. Recommended for first time traveler to Taoyuan as it is strategic located nearby few shopping malls. Good choice of breakfast provided. Excellent service by the hotel staff. Two things which i hope to see some improvement will be the shower head to be adjustable(Current shower head not movable, will not be convenience for tall... This hotel is in the process of a makeover. Do note that it has also changed its name to Chateau de Chine Hotel Taoyuan. Notwithstanding the renovation work that was going on, the guest rooms were not affected by the noise. The lobby and the dining areas have been refurbished and looked bright and neat. The same could not be... More

Each time i visit Taiwan in the Taipei area (8 times/year) I make my way to the China Trust Hotel iin Zhongli, Taoyuan. Great Staff, spacious rooms, breakfast is included and dinner buffet in the Western Restaurant is excellent. They also have a Catonese Restaurant at the facility. Within walking distance to temples, parks, and the ever present Seven-Eleven. Plus... More

They changed their name a few days ago, so the new sign isn't even up The hotel is average, nothing special. Takes around 600NT and 30 mins to get here via cab. Furniture definitely dated, and rooms are pretty small. Location is great if you want to be in Taoyuan, near the train station, and nearby, there are tons of... More
