Spent 3 weeks and was delighted by the staff and the restaurants. Everyone was eager to assist in any way possible to make stay comfortable. Room was spacious and quiet. Great location within easy walking distance to shopping and wide range of restaurants. more

I haven't been there in a while and it looks tired and run-down. Too many tourists and the service is so-so. too many better hotels in the area, go somewhere else! more

Having not been to Taichung in over five years it was a pleasure spending the last 10 days at the Evergreen, somewhere I have stayed at over 20 times in the last 15 years. Stayed for 4 nights at the Evergreen on business. This meant we got to taste very little of the hotel's facilities, though we did eat from the immense and varied breakfast buffet each morning. Very nice hotel in heart of Taichung. Rooms weren't huge but bathrooms were nice. Had internet access over the television. Bar in hotel was nice as was the buffet breakfast - both Eastern and Western food options. One of, if not THE, best hotel in Taichung. more
