Very good business hotel with a park right across the street. Breakfast choices are limited but good enough since it is included in the affordable price of the hotel room. Room is big but you you can hear people talking clearly from the corridors and adjacent rooms. Overall, you get what you pay for.

Stayed 1 night together with family on holidays. Basic amenities- but surprised to find fitness centre in this 3 star hotel. However there is no treadmill and free weights. Breakfast was good considering it's a 3 star stay. Overall experience is ok if it's for a short stay.

We stayed only 1 night with the family. Pros: - average hotel - decent decor - decent size rooms - friendly staff - okay breakfast Cons: - lobby / entrance needs to be updated - dusty / musky feel to the hotel - nothing spectacular / memorable at the hotel

This is a fantastic hotel with huge rooms. Our travel agent help me & my family booked this hotel for our family trip. This is a very comfortable hotel with huge bed & nice bathroom with bath tub somemore. Its clean & quiet with nice & friendly staff. For the complimentary breakfast, many choices of food with typical Taiwanese style.... More

It is a nice restaurant. It was clean and quiet. The breakfast was typical Taiwanese style. Staff were nice and friendly. As we left the hotel, staff were there waving signs - "Thank You" and "Come back again". Nice touch. Will definitely stay there if we visit Taichung again.

Modern hotel with 7/11 right next door and a laundromat opposite the 7/11. Hotel is clean and new. Room is decently sized with a very decent toilet. Great staff, enthusiastic, great service. Breakfast was a decent spread of Chinese and Western food. Only downside - rooms are a little dark. Highly recommended.

Stayed there for 1 night. I do not have much memory of this hotel as it is not impressive at all. I remember the room is quite dark, the bathroom is dark too, the shower area is spacious. The decoration of the hotel is stylish-trying-to-be, with antique Chinese table and chair in the lobby, and robot and gundum too.. My... More

If you are travelling with spouse or loved one and prefer a good night rest without interruption, this hotel is not suitable for you. The walls are paper-thin and you can literally listen to the conversation of your neighboring unit even when they are whispering ! Floor in the room is not carpeted, and as you walk, the guest below... More

Stayed here in November 2013 with family of 5. We were upgraded to a deluxe family room. Kids were elated when they stepped into the room. It was a split level room, with luxurious space and, big and comfortable beds. The only thing about the room is that we found the lighting to be too dim. The room and bathrooms... More

The City Resort has nicely-furnished rooms that are dimly lit. The rooms are pretty small, but it is okay. The TV remote however is very weird as it has a cable attached to it. The bathroom is small but clean. There is cable TV. The breakfast is great as there are many choices that suits the taste of many. Overall... More
