If you are interested in traditional taiwanese culture, this hostel is strongly recommended. The buildings are well preserved, and not overdecorated. Nice location, right on the bustling Kenting street. Rooms are clean and basic. There's a trail along the beach, where you can saw nice sunset. Delicious traditional breakfast is included. Rooms are popular on weekends, it's better to reserved... More

We took the Kenting Express bus from Kaohsiung (Zuoying) to the last stop. From there we needed to walk about approx. 600m to reach the front desk. It was quite an experience having to push/pull our luggage through the road surface for 600m. In terms of location, near the night market, restaurants and shops. "Frog rock" was just behind the... I've stayed here a few times over the years and always returned, it's not as comfortable as a modern hotel, as the facilities are a little old and outdated, but it's worth it for the ambiance and location. The hostel is located on its own private peninsular next to 'frog rock' and right next to Kenting beach. The rooms are... More

We stayed here a few years ago, and came back to Kenting and stayed here again. We really fell in love with the architecture and ambience here, and on this trip, there were a few improvements that we noticed. We stayed in the newer section this time, and the room was nice and clean-smelling. For non-smokers, this is very important,... More

Great location, really close to the busy night market(墾丁大街). The rooms are very clean and breakfast is included. The only downside is that wifi is spotty in the rooms and we had to go to the main building to use internet.

We stayed for 2 nights. We would like to see they improve the outdoor lights. It was very dark with dotting street lights in the village plus the stone stairs everywhere, that is not safe to walk in the dark. I scratched my brand new shoes when tried to stablise myself from a fall. Should the lighting was better, I... More

It was an interesting experience to stay in a well-preserved traditional Fujian village. The cobble stone footpath, night lanterns and the sea breeze made our stay a really peaceful one. The staff was very friendly and helpful with giving us info. We had two double beds in our room so it was a little cramped. The bathroom is functional and... More

This hotel was booked on our behalf as part of Regent Holidays National Parks of Taiwan Tour and fell well below our expectations, bearing in mind the cost of the holiday. This was in fact a youth activity centre reflected by the number of groups of young people. The room was badly in need of refurbishment and due to the... More

I stayed here in a group trip to Kenting 20 years ago. Last year I stayed here again in a visit to Kenting with my family. It was a wonderful place. The staff was very helpful. The traditional southern Chinese (Taiwanese) buildings were very interesting and unique; and the natural view were simply breathtaking. The center was government owned 20... More

Kenting Youth activity Center is located at Sail Rock area, right at the end of Kenting night market street. The buildings are designed as traditional southern Chinese courtyarddwellilngs, as a result, the sitting area is quite small while the court yard is very spaceous. The center has excellent ocean view and there is a sea walk trail just behind the... More
