The hotel itself is nice. Not sure of the location as we haven't explored Kaohsiung much as tourists. Very close to railway station (just next to it). However, if you need to use subway (metro) then you have to cross the whole train station! We used taxis lining up at the main door. In some walking distance to eatery areas!... More

Good location, very close to the Kaohsiung station. Staff at front desk were very friendly and cheerful. But the room itself was a bit disappointing, it could be cleaner, for example one of the pillow case was actually dirty and one of the bottled water was already opened. Plus the AC was REALLY noisy. Note: Due to the major construction... More

Location is at the Kaohsiung Main Railway station but exit is far on the other side of the station. Room deco is old but the size is ok (around 25m2), wifi is fast, room is quiet and tv has English channel. Service staff is good trying best to please and plenty of eatery around the area. Breakfast spread is good... More

Location is very convenient, its easy to use the train and MRT. Hotel breakfast is superb. Rooms are neat, spacious, tidy and renovated not long ago. The staff are very courteous and helpful, will try their best to help. Being on a main road means there are cars passing, but noise is not loud. Learn to walk straight through the... More

Very nice hotel. Room is good and spacious. Fast in-room internet connection Great buffet breakfast. Cheap buffet lunch and dinner. The reception and staffs are very friendly. There is also free internet access at the lobbly. Location is not so good: Passing through the railway station everyday as the hotel is at the rear of the railway station.

We had a stopover in Kaohsiung as part of a tour around Taiwan, and arrived late in the evening. The hotel faces the main train station, with a multi-lane road facing the front of the hotel. When we got a room on the 2nd floor facing the main road, I was worried about the traffic noise but this proved to... More

The hotel seemed decent enough. The mattress was firm but comfortable. The tub had a high rim, making it a pretty high step to get in and out of the shower. The furniture seemed a bit dated but in good condition. Breakfast was a buffet with Asian-style choices and the food tasted fine. Note that unlike many American hotels, the... More

Hotel rooms and design were very old. Their rooms were very spacious thou, but had some WorldWar 2 feel... which we do not know how to describe. Will definitely not go back again. We did not have a good night sleep and luckily was there for only one night. Breakfast was pretty decent.

The room had mosquitoes and I got bitten in two places and hearing them singing next to my ears. That happened at 3am and I ended up requesting a room change at 4am. It completely ruined my rest and weekend vacation. After I complained and insisted without any compromise, I got half payment back. The manager at beginning just wanted... More
