This hotel is a novelty -- you are staying and paying for the view. This building was the tallest in Taiwan until Taipei 101 was built in in Taipei. The lobby of the hotel is on the 39th floor, and the rooms go up from there in the 60s and 70s. I stayed on the 64th floor, and I barely... More

Stayed for one night in Kaohsiung, do note that if you hate taking lifts then avoid this hotel, there are two hotels within this 85 building, I stayed in 85 Sky Tower Hotel because it had better rates, nicer view. Lobby was at Level 39, no strict no smoking policy in the hotel room but have a smoking room on... More

The hotel is located downtown thus 'everything' within walking distance. The hotel is large and has it own flavour, not very personal or cozy but efficient. The rooms are very comfortable, large and with good city view of course being in a high rise. The breakfast caters for asian and western food. Very busy when we there but the staff... More

The buidling of this hotel is one of landmarks in Kaohsiung so it is quite easy to find even though you are a total stranger here. The Cafeteria for breakfast is the highlight of the hotel because you can easily see the view of Kaohsiung Port. The view is worthy the money though it is a bit old already. Rooms are... More

If you like heights, this is the place to stay. Reception is on the 39th floor. Guest rooms go up to 70th. Stayed on the 60th floor overlooking the harbor. Beautiful views. No matter what room you have as the view over the city at night is just as stunning. Service staff are very friendly and accommodating. As with most... More

Stayed on 70th floor, with a nice bay view! Room is OK for a business hotel, excelent breakfast, big bathroom, with a bathtube, shower is good, but the water constrlos are old, and so is difficult to set the water temperature!

Good location with lovely views is only plus. Very basic accommodation. No frills room with plain decor. Uncomfortable sleep due to hard mattress. Crowded and noisy breakfast. Limited Western food choices.

I stayed at a twin room on the 70th floor. The view was of course stunning and breathtaking. We could see the Southern side of the city, including the airport, the Ferris wheel and Cijin. The check-in and check-out procedures were fast and efficient. Yet, we were skeptical about the security of the hotel as we met a few guests,... More

Stayed on 68th floor & so had a superb view. Decor of room was dated although clean & spacious. Breakfast buffet spread was enormous! Service was so-so only and hotel caters more to large tour group. Location was good as within walking distance to food outlets & shopping malls.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 separate nights, one night on 4X/F and one night on 6X/F. The view from the hotel room is stunning, especially at night and I was lucky both night the sky was so clear. However, that's it, that's the special thing about this hotel. The room is in good size and with a large... More
