We stayed on the 41st floor - executive level. We had a single king sized bed with a view of Central Park, where the MRT is (nearby, we walked but also cabbed sometimes to the MRT -cabs are really cheap there!) Free wi-fi, free access to executive lounge and free spa privileges among the perks. Gorgeous pool, beautiful plants and flowers... More

stayed in a twin room. outdated decor and gave the impression that many many guests have trekked through this hotel to stay. 30th floor views of the city from our room were not stunning, just a view of the neighboring building scape. room walls appeared to be quite thin as i was able to hear the room next doors conversations... Can't say enough about how good the place was. Unbelievably competent and helpful staff. Just two examples: 1. Left my phone charger in my room and didn't realize it until after I had checked out and it was 6 hrs later. Called them. I was on hold for less than 2 minutes before they came back and said they had... More

This is my second time staying in this hotel. I managed to stay one night during both visit. The staffs were very helpful and friendly. The room was reasonably sized and clean. It has a view overlooking the harbour (not sure the name of the harbour). What I like most is that the hotel provides free wifi internet access for... More

A truly beautiful hotel with a very nice pool, and a great exercise gym that featured group exercise and spin classes. The Grand Hi-Lai is connected to several high end luxury shops, has several restaurants, and has access to a grocery store for shopping convenience. The breakfast was excellent with a tremendous variety of choices. Very high quality. Agreed with... More

I stayed at this hotel recently for three nights. The rooms were a little dated but very elegant, large and comfortable. Check in staff were very courteous and attentive. I must recommend the steakhouse at this hotel which must have been the best dinner in all of Taiwan! Overall a very good hotel which I would recommend to anybody coming... More

Hotel is located about 20 mins taxi from the HSR Train Station. I stayed here for 2 nights for business in February 2014. The check in was a breeze as most reception staff speaks English. There is a big bar/restaurant right in front of the reception which makes the whole place like a pub/karaoke establishment. My room was located high... More

elegant, rooms are a bit dated, it's just the way the decor is, not old or unclean. We had a club room with free drinks and snacks in the club lounge. The view was great, lounge was very nice. Service was great. The room itself was large, probably 45sqm. Very nice spa area. Location is central, but you will still... More

The hotel is in a super convenient location. Close to shopping, restaurants. Service awesome, grand entrance, breakfast awesome. But the hallway, rooms are super dated and we can't even get clear cable/tv reception. Is this supposed to be luxury??

This was an older but elegant hotel! There are excellent restaurants here as well! The bottom floors are of both high end and average shopping. It was very quiet and the service was excellent. Breakfast was fantastic with many choices! Very nice park a short walk nearby.
