Some renovations to freshen it up a bit would make a huge difference as the hotel has already very many strong points. We basically picked it on the following 3 criteria: the outdoor rooftop pool (very nice -- and hot tub...), the gym and the location. The bellboys and reception staff work hard to please you, in spite of the... More

We had drinks on the 30th floor for a couple on nights, the place is nice, quiet and relaxing. The service is excellent there and a good selection self serviced snacks with the drinks. A good place to relax after a busy day.

Spent one quick night at this hotel (I've stayed once before, years ago), on the way to Kenting. Hotel was well known by taxi drivers. Walked in around 1AM, lobby was pretty dark and décor was more like a throwback to the 1990s. Room was comfortable with a decent view of the city. Room size was quite large and it... More

This hotel is really great in all ways. There was a free shuttle service from the train station to the hotel. Reception was helpful in giving directions. The room was big since I lived in the suite but one thing about the room is that there should be 2 toilets instead of 2 as there is a dysfunctional room with... More

How did I get there I, had arrived in Taiwan, via Taoyuan Airport, took the U – Bus from the Airport to the Taiwan High Speed Rail Station of Taoyuan. From there, it was a ride to Zuoying. At Zouying, use Exit 2 to get to Kaohsiung MRT and then to Formosa Boulevard Station The Reservation Department was kind enough... More

We reserved a family room for 4 people and it was a two room suites with big living room and spacious bedroom, two bathrooms. Very large area, clean hotel for a great price. Breakfast selection is great, convenient in Kaoshiung as well. Definitely will go back next time.

Our stay at this hotel was excellent! I loved everything about it. The breakfast was almost excellent although scrambled eggs were cold in a big trough. Service was superb and staff were incredibly friendly. Pool is excellent although was pretty cold. Cannot recommend the Jacuzzi which is paint-stripped and not powerful (it was in fact out of action on our... More

Easy walking distance (12 mins) to the railway station and the MRT (underground station). Rooms are a decent size, clean and well serviced. Shower a bit small but excellent water pressure and temperature control. Breakfast on the 5th floor restaurant can be a bit busy and chaotic, but wide range of food available. If there is no cut pineapple out... More

It is located off the main road (Chong-San-Yi-Lu) connecting the Kaoshiung Main Train Station and the Formosa Station. It is a 15min walk to either subway station. It is not a bad walk since one can browse the many stores as you go, however, for those in a hurry, the taxi will get you there in less than 5 min... More

This hotel is already of a good quality, but as of 12th December, it is offering an exclusive breakfast venue on its 30th floor for its VIP guests. Good move and very beneficial to its regular visitors. The checking-in procedure is still not clear, as now there is a VIP checking-in office near the shopping area in the hotel. This... More
