the innkeeper Teyra Yudaw runs this inn with a special purpose - contribute his life to the Church. Inn itself is tidy and clean with good room space. Garden is beautiful with outlook on a wooden platform. You may consult Teyra (speak fluent English) places of interest and good restaurants nearby, even he may arrange a local tour by taxi... More

My family of four recently enjoyed a three-night stay here, and were very pleased by the cleanliness, hospitality, food, and location. Teyra and his wife, our hosts, were most accommodating, and arranged for an English-speaking guide and driver (ask for Vincent!), who took us through the gorge and to the surrounding areas. Recommend doing the gorge early, and on a... More

We arrived in the evening when the place was already dark, having been on the road for 8 hours from Cing Jing. We were surprised to find its location so close to the highway and was slightly wary of it turning out motel like. But our worries were quickly dissipated by the friendly welcome by owner Teyra (actually I only... More

The owner of the B&B, Teyra, picked us up at the train station. After we checked in (over lovely cool tea), he told us that he was participating in a ceremony to commemorate a 1914 battle between members of his aboriginal minority and Japanese troops and invited us to attend. We were most fortunate to attend this fascinating event. The... More

Beautiful property with lots of trees and plants about 15mins drive from Taroko Gorge. The rooms are big, clean, calming and bright. The owners are very friendly, knowledgable and helped us in arranging our airport transfers and day trips. We've thoroughly enjoyed our very relaxing stay there. Just note that you need a car to get around.

I'm writing this review as we are checking out and leaving this bed and breakfast. By far the best place we've stayed thus far on our trip. It almost feels like Teyra and his wife are like your uncles and aunts. They offer you tea when you arrive with service amenities like no other. It was such an awesome experience,... More

This B&B is highly recommended for travellers who love nature, don't mind living away from the main city area and appreciate history & culture. Teyra is very hospitable as the reviews say & his love for his culture shows as he takes time to explain the story behind this B&B's name as well as our room name. The B&B is... More

This is such a gem. Rooms are very clean and well-appointed, and it is clear that guest comfort is very important to the hosts. The owners are a sweet married couple. She is quiet and calm, and he is exuberant and welcoming. He told us a lot about the history of the area and the Japanese occupation, as he is... More

Don't miss this sweet B&B when you visit Taroko George. It is located across the Rainbow bridge (literally), right at the gateway to Taroko George. It has a few parking spots right outside the property with 24-hour surveillance camera. The house is lovely, the garden is so well kept. The owner Teyra speaks very good English and told us stories... More
