A group of 11 of us elderly hiking types stayed here 2 nights in April. We occupied mostly single rooms, so almost filled the hotel. The rooms were large and comfortable, with sofa, huge en suite and shower. Some with verandas. Not far from night market and several local restaurants. No real nightlife nearby, but it did not worry us.... More

We stayed in Jimei in March 2015 and enjoyed our 3-night stay in this B&B. Their team is friendly and helpful and our room had a spacious balcony with swing which faces the mountains. Breakfast is typically local style comprising porridge with a variety of dishes, bread, juice and fruits. There’s free flow of coffee and tea at the dining... More

Full Jimei Homestay review: http://ivanteh-runningman.blogspot.sg/2015/01/jimei-homestay.html Introduction Located about 10 minutes drive away from the Hualien High Speed Rail (HSR) Station in Taiwan, Jimei Homestay offers a comfortable, cozy home stay / bed & breakfast style concept. Despite looking rather small, Jimei Homestay can house up to 30 guests at once! Jimei Homestay is actually the 2nd business of the owner... More

Stayed for 2 nights with my friends, it is near to the ZiQiang night market but at the same time have a nice environments surrounded by farms and fields. The staff are nice and helpful and breakfast is great. Rooms are big and clean. They also offer good price for car trip for touring around Hualien. Would recommended it to... More

We have got 2 fabulous days in Hualian at Jimei. The breakfast served here is gorgeous. It is a good idea to spend 2300NTD for a car trip to the Mountain areas. Jimei was originally a private house but opened to the public later. The main building is constructed by wood and has nice atmospheres.

Although this B&B is a bit far away from the main town, it is worth spending one night there. We were welcomed by the front desk girls who provided a lot of good suggestions on checking out the surroundings. We had a spacious room with well equipped sitting area, clean toilet and bath, a small balcony and bedroom at the... More

The accommodation is well-designed. Worth experiencing. Location wise, not exactly that near to Ziqiang night market. Breakfast was provided - the food were home-cooked, and not exactly to our liking. Otherwise, service is good. I booked a room with 2 double beds for 2 nights. Upon arrival, I was dismayed that I was not given the original room that I... More

Set against the backdrop of beautiful mountain scenery this is a very relaxing spot on the outer edge of Hualien City. Room was good size, bright and airy feel with small balcony for relaxing. Furnishings are more on the homey side as opposed to the ultra-modern feel I got in all my other Taiwanese city excursions. Breakfast included was a... More

Friendly receptionist that stayed till 12am to wait for us to check in even though her work ended at 1030pm. Boss gave us a free drive to the train station with his car :D Spacious room and bathroom with free toiletries. Short walk to ziqiang night market but far from city. Delicious breakfast but a bit bored after a few... More
