We spent Friday night there. The garden at the farm was lovely and kids enjoyed biking where there was not many people on a weekday and the bike rental fee was reasonable. However, food was so-so and farm staff were not enthusiastic.

Stayed here for two nights in the lodge-style rooms, which seem cool at first, but the novelty wore off really quickly when we saw how unclean the room was. The rooms clearly have not been updated in many years and don't even look very clean either. Flies were everywhere. I had to explain to the kids that there were flies... More

Spent a night at Shin Kong Chao Feng Ranch Resort as it was part of our tour package. The farms were quite dirty, esp where the cows were. More importantly, more than half of our tour mates were attacked by hundreds of invinsible mosquito!! The red dots start showing a day after we left the range but the itchiness and... More

Due to road closure, we cannot stay at Tanoko Silk Palace and staying in this ranch is our contingency plan. We were lucky that they still have vacant room and they did not even ask for deposit. The service there is excellent. All the staff in the resort are very helpful and efficient. In general we have a good time... More

Basically a place where Taiwanese families go with their children. You can live in a holiday house consisting of oe large room, shower and toilet. The one we had was very clean, there were no mosquitoes or other bugs which is very good when you are out in the green. There's a little zoo where you can touch the animals... More

We stayed there for 1 nite. The rooms are dated with loose powerpoints hanging around and holes in the tiles in the bathroom. The farm has a bit of everything but nothing is really of the must see must experience type. There are 2 things that our family really enjoyed very much though. 1. the free hotsprings - very nice... We spent 2 nights there in all. The room is huge with 2 queen beds. Must do is to rent their buggy during your stay there. We had a good time driving around the farm in the buggy. Had our hot spring dips for 2 nights there-it's free for visitors staying at the farm. The little farm -zoo area is... More

We spent 2 nights in this farm. A shuttle bus at the price of NT$100 took us from Hualien Railway Station to the farm. The journey was around 35-40 minutes. The farm is actually a hot-spring resort with a petite zoo, orchard, insect corner and botanical garden. Accommodation in the form of small chalets (either 4 single beds or 2... More
